How do I make Swype as my default input method for Handcent SMS?

Why my swype dont recognize my screen size? Still can use? I'm using it to type now. Accuracy is good but cannot swype.

I manage to install Swype on my Desire, really nice! Great app!

Now, waiting for Froyo. If I dont see it by Sept, I'd probably root it.

Has anyone tried the RPG, Zenonia? Quite fun but full game not available. Any other games like this classic RPG?

I had task killer installed and I frequently used it to end task, not to save memory but to save battery. But I had little issues like HSPDA not working properly, and the sensor not working properly (black screen even when removing the phone from my ear). When I uninstalled the task killer, it fixed everything and my HSPDA is more smooth now.

New Shazam update only limit you to use it to recognize 5 songs per month. Those who has Shazam before July can still recognize unlimited songs. Try to avoid updating this application.

I am using the black leather case by PDair. There's someone doing the bulk purchase from Garage Sales, I got it from him.

Using swype to type on the internet lags so badly. Anyone experiencing this?

Hi there, just curious, I was reading about the custom rom and found that the LeeDroid Mod does not have the Stock application, that's not something I can live without. Would there be a replacement for this app from MArket that you may be aware of?

I got connection error, any idea why?

Yes I am connected to the Internet and my Friend Stream and Facebook application works fine. However, no idea why I cannot refresh it there.

I am planning to root my Desire some time next weekend (after I get my new laptop). So many version of Froyo out there, which is best? The last I saw recommended by pluginbaby said that it does not come with "Stock" which is an application that I need.

I thinking about it but decided to go with LeeDroid because he has more supporters, hence assume his release is more stable.

By the way, once we go with LeeDroid release, can we gain access to paid applications?

I want to use the old method as its recommended by you but my BUILD version is not listed in your Desire Rooting Guide. Hence, I went with the new method instead.

I guess you meant in ALL APPLICATIONS rather than in SETTING > APPLICATION? Sorry, a little confusing but I manage to install LeeDroid 1.6 on my Desire. I guess it's been rooted. Thanks to your guide.

2. I downloaded this off LeeDroid site at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=724123, but what is this 32.42.00.32U.5.09.00.08.zip file thingie?

3. I format my SD card with 512MB EXT and 0 Swap as advised in your guide. It asked for confirmation prior to the reboot and I click on OK. So, it rebooted and showed a android and a exclamation ! mark for a while. It's been 5 - 10 minutes and it has not change screen. Is this normal? Does formatting take so long? I'm using the stock micro SD card provided by Maxis, believe it's 2GB.
