google-d it and it seems that people have problems with it... but i think in this forum, only a few people is suffering from it... i'm gonna format it using the phone... hopefully it will solve the problem...

I've formatted 3 times via phone since purchase..had this phone for 1month plus. I think its the only complaint I have about the desire so far..apart from the lousy call loudspeaker.

But this SD corruption I noticed from other forums seems to be an Android issue more than a Desire one. I'm considering changing my sd card to fix this problem..currently using an 8gb sandisk, class 2 I think. Anyone here know if upgrading to a class 6 will fix this problem?

Try XDA forums. Last time before I registered officially @ SWYPE for the latest beta, I got the older beta there.

How do you find the voice recognition? I tried it but the results sometimes way off from what I wanted to say so I stopped using already. Great thing to show off though.

I added voice recognition via the approach above..finding it pretty accurate. I no longer type smses when driving except adding additional local words smile.gif

Most ppl naturally make the mistake of speaking at the screen aimed at the mic logo..instead aim lower closer to the buttons at the bottom.

Question: Every time we update apps, a patch is downloaded and installed.

I was wondering if all these "setup" files is eating up space on the internal memory/sd card or android OS automatically clears these files after awhile.
