damn... i just bought the i5-m460 SXPS16 about 3 weeks ago. Now dell is going to launch the new one. not that i menyesal but this laptop. in fact, i'm very happy with it. but still hoping i get more from the money i paid.

did what u have said. no difference. the rattling is still there. it's fine on the right speaker but terrible on the left speaker. what do you suggest?

im using i5 460M 2.53GHz. this is the screen shot taken under normal usage (MS Word, PowerPoint, Firefox, data transfer).
1 question though. my battery wear level sometimes at 9%. someti,e at 8% and now at 10%. is this normal? i just got this laptop for about 2 month+.

Added on December 1, 2010, 1:14 amguys, regaarding my previous prblem on the rattling speaker... it get even worst when i install the audio driver from dell's website. no sound at all now. help me please. new sem coming next week

that why. i also didnt know which one is true. on paper it is a 460M but on software mostly detect it as 540M. don't really care actually. the difference are very minor.

anyway, did anybody know here how to get the 9 cell battery for this laptop? i cant find it in the Dell's website.

yeah, I emailed Dell guy to ask about the 9 cell battery. sadly he replied no 9 cell battery at the moment.

ouh... sorry... some misunderstanding there... i thought you customize the internal laptop cooler it self.... my bad.

anyway, the engineer was here to fix my speaker problem. they did the job fantastically.

no wonder lah... u r using C2D. i tot u use i7 and get that temp. that's quite impossible huh.

guys, i got the Dell XPS 1647 about a year 1 month now because of this forum. It works like charm. the screen and performance impressed me most. but now, I'm looking to settle down with a smaller laptop and planning to get a macbook pro 13"/15" because i need a mac to do my final project on iPhone apps. i will definitely miss the screen on the XPS 16. i didn't know weather i will survive without it. the the question is how much can i get from selling this super awesome XPS 1647? any interested buyers?
