Hi guys, apologize if I'm repeating this ... but can someone tell me is it normal for my AC Power Adapter to be really hot. It's so hot that I can barely touch it.

I'm having the 1640 model.

You're right. There's no reason not to be civilised (now why does that sound so familiar ... where did I hear that before? hmm.gif )

But if I don't get good service from them, then it's going to be vmad.gif mad.gif time.

Thanks for listening. thumbup.gif

better be safe than sorry, might catch fire you never know LOL (there was once a Dell battery which was recalled due to being fire hazard! this is rather less documented..)

.. fyi, i WAS a Dell user, got screwed by customer service, never touching it again.. but oh well, different people got different experience with them.. smile.gif

Does Dell work over the weekend?

If not, then I'm going to run some games on it over the weekend to see whether my SXPS16 got any issue or not.

Been reading a lot of complaints about throttling from notebookreview.com so wanna test my unit as well.

Can't believe this ... only own it for 1 day.

as far as i know, the 1645 system must get the 130w adapter right???...to eliminate throttling...
