A man is a man. They cannot get over with the sex thing! Man can never have girl as best friend. I have some guy friend who says they just wanna be friends but ended up asking u to go late nite out or go dating. To man, girls will always be an object of lust no matter who you are unless of course you are his mother or sister.

To me... it's possible... Why not? However, u have to be open la... Don think too much... Last time when i was quite young... actually small, there is this boy... I think he broke his arm or sumthing... So i was being helpful as in always helping him do stuff... then the gossip started... And he was so shy that he ignored me for a year... Wow... and i felt so bad about it... People... With there stupid gossips... But now... we are very close friends again... At least after he knew how to think with a mature mind... So the point here is don ever think too much... Who cares what other people say... Phew... we're still good friends... Go lunching together... Even though there's another gossip going on... but i think our friendship shall sustain if we are clever enough to think with a sensible mind... Well... We're all humans... Humans should care for each other... Humans should learn how to love each other (the love here doesn't necessarily mean the boy girl relationship love) So... of course boys and girl can be good friends.

anyway, if u r attached n u know well ur limitation then of coz u can hv a opposite sex as a good fren.. n so do ur good fren is.. n make sure ur partner is well-known of ur friendship n no hidden things n dun do anything tat can make ur partner feel suspicious..

i dont see there is any problems wor...i treat gals (especially coursemate) as good fren...dont think beyond other....some attached, some not

its possible for a couple of years but it is hard to maintain the relationship as decent as it is if u have a very very cute best guy friend who smell nice and always manjakan u..hhaha dats what happened to me..we were bestfriend for lik 6 yrs and somehow along the road felt so hard for each other..but still doesnt have the heart to confess until one day he said dat he was jealous seeing me with another guy..and guess wat we are still going strong after 3 yrs of serious relationship..yay!

What is good friend? Good friend (Best friend) means a very very close friendship. So, if this happen between a guy and a lady, they are in friendship. They are not fall in love. They won't be jealous with each other in each party love relationship, and they will encourage each other to live happily with their partner they will wishing each other all the best.

I don't think they will have sex relationship also......because most of them not Dr. Chua and his "best friend".

This is luck. Whether you meet a very very close friendship in opposite sex. I don't know any special words for this kind of relationship in English however in Chinese could say is 红颜知己。

Am I the only girl who is going to say that guys and gals cannot have platonic friendship? Honestly, 90% of my guy friends ended up falling in love with me. My hubby is one of them and now he is my hubby and my best friend!!
