Aku=Hantu paku

Saya=Macam buaya

I only know the word "I" replaced saya/aku. End of story.

is that when u use (saya) its much more polite, like speaking to the elder or someone who have bigger authorities then u and (aku) usually being use among friends and someone who u didnt care bout his status and whatsoever

use 'aku' when addressing ur parents

using "aku" when with older people is considered rude by many

but yet muslimsmalays in this country use "aku" when praying(doa) to God,and that's ok?

`aku` sounds more sincere when talk with God...
`saya` sounds a bit hipokrit....only use to show we r polite with strangers/elder/auhority/superior..etc
