halo guys, since X'mas is around the corner. i'm plan to buy myself a new HEADPHONE. (prefer close-ear type, i wan it to block outside noise)

my budget is around RM10 to RM 500.... not to exceed too much form RM 500 also consider affordable, because i wan to have a good thing for long term usage.

my 1st priority is to use the HEADPHONE for playing games like L4D2 and all types of shooting games. but if CAN get a nice music and movie compatible sound system is best even tho it lost a bit of potential in gaming. overall, the main product i need is for balanced performance.

any recommendations?? i prefer to get them in lowyat.... cos it is nearer~

how to check whether my soundcard support 2.1 or higher system??

the sound tab when i run dxdiag, it shows "Realtek HD audio"..... what does it means?

after whole lot of trouble, i found out tat gaming headset is not as useful as potential headphones, made up my mind to get a nice headphones for music and movie!!


- what you currently have -> laptop (how to chk my soundcard)
- what type of usage -> 1st priority-- music and movie! (need it for normal games like l4d and dota and so on...)
- source -> mp3,wma
- type of music listen to -> general, no preference
- personal requirements like type -> close ear, can block outside noise, prefer no mic

budget -> RM1-----RM550

if can get in lowyat is best, cos kinda lazy to go thru much trouble~

need recommendations for headphones....

budget< RM100
preference- full size, noise canceling type
using- handphone with 3.5mm jack, mp3, laptop

ps: personally i spot philips SHP 2700, pls give some recommendations.
