Looking for a full sized headphone.

To be used mainly with my laptop (supports 5.1 sound), although I also have an iPod Touch.
Should be all purpose, will be using it for music, casual games, YouTube videos, etc. Just so I will have the sound to myself, and for better clarity in sound.
I'm also a musician that listens to blues, rock, and I want to be able to hear every instruments distinctively.

I'm looking at the Sennheiser, Bose brand. Budget is RM 150 but willing to spend more if there is a massive difference.

Need help in choosing my first real headphone. Please?

Will be using mainly on laptop, but must be suitable for iPod also.
Want full sized. (headband/around-ear, considering on-ear)
70% music, 25% games, 5% videos.
Listen to blues and rock songs with guitars, basses and drums. Want to hear individual instruments clearly, especially the bass and drums. Also listen to instrumental classical pieces. I don't listen to clubbing music.
Expecting a low end Sennheiser, but will consider other brands.
Budget around RM 150, but feel free to recommend more expensive ones if they suit me, incase I can get them cheap.
