Hi guys, I'm looking for a good IEM but with tight budget. Here are the details:

-Budget around RM100.
-Use for listening to songs and the occasional movies on handphone/ipod/computer.
-Good noise isolation
-clear sound (no distortions), slight bass effect

Currently saw a few models: Hippo Groove, Soundmagic PL11/PL20, brainwave M1. But wondering which is best bang for the buck or are there any other brands which offer similar priced IEMs which are better quality?

Thanks in advanced guys! smile.gif

Ha tongue.gif The fact being he was hoping for a pair of headphones that looks like the AKG K450, sounds better and cost cheaper.

Until now not a single person can recommend a pair of headphones that looks like the AKG K450, which is cheaper, better sounding and swear by it. tongue.gif The truth is most of you here has not experienced ALL the headphones you are recommending including the AKG K450. So how do you know that the particular pair of headphones that is cheaper and sounds better hmm.gif It is just like cowboys shooting from the hips. nod.gif

Sry guys... I hope this is the right place for me to ask questions...

Currently I'm comparing SteelSeries Siberia V2 and SteelSeries Siberia Neckband...
1. Can I know what is the differences in performance? [don't mention about design]

2. And what is the differences between Gaming Headset (Razer, SteelSeries) and other Professional Headsets (AKG, Sennheiser, Dr. Dre, JBL)?

3. Lastly how about Razer Chimaera wireless headset? Worth waiting for it?

I will use it mostly for music (pc, iphone) and some gaming...
Budget RM300-600

Thx for your precious advices smile.gif
*
Since it is mostly for music, go with professional audio brands like AKG, JBL etc. Steel and Razers are gaming headphones, no good for music. Having said that, AKG has just came up with the GHS1, good for music and games.

For wireless, bluetooth is a no no if you are serious about your music, only consider the Kleer technology type like the AKG K840KL which is beyond your budget.

Mainly R&B and Pop songs , i wan something with heavy bass and clarity like the Solo HD but its too expensive . Budget im not sure coz headphones are pretty cheap in UK Porta Pro cost less then RM 100 here and AKG450 cost around RM 200 only but i wanna something portable like AKG450 series . Im in the UK so its hard to find them to audition myself .
*
Be real careful because the price you had mentioned is really really low even in the UK. There are lots of fakes around.

The AKG K450 is a good choice rclxms.gif
