The music that i listen to is ranging from eminem to linkin park to mariah carey and everything in between
currently have a phillips shp2700 which umm, dsnt satisfy me me at all sonically after having my sound magic pl-50 iem
i still do use my iem but would prefer a headphone as it's easy to put on n take off
any suggestions? prefer one that has better sq than the pl-50
p/s: other significant preferences are wide sound stage for the background music, and good bass for some rap rock thumping as well as clarity for

Guys besides an amp, i'm also looking for a music player to use for my Shure SRH440.
Definetely needs FLAC support as my current iPod nano doesn't support FLAC. and it's only 8gb so even if i convert to ALAC i can't put a lot of songs.
Can someone help me decide which of these are the best?
-Cowon S9
-Cowon J3
-Samsung P3

Currently leaning towards S9 but not sure..
interm of sound i think cowon is better?

Anyone?
Between Philips/Logitech/Audio Technica, which is better?
It depend on you actually, all three brand with different model provide different sounding.
but audio technica have more models are more in Audiophile series such as AD series, Air series, Their CKM IEM series, Woody series...
philips and Logitech are more on IT field

Can anyone recommend a pair of IEM's or headphones for me? I'm in Australia now, so ill see what I can get from here. Budget about RM200. I used to have a pair of Soundmagic mp21 which i was really satisfied with but something went wrong with the wiring on the left side rendering it useless now.

looking for something that's on par with its sq or better it.
I prefer something comfortable and easy to carry around. I listen to mostly Metal music, but ill use them for movies on laptop and iphone too.
Thanks

Looking for recomendation of 3 earphone
1) Normal fotopia type earphone
- Prefer Sennheiser
- Budget below RM400
- Good clarity and extra bass
2) Noise Canceling Earphone, compact type
- budget below rm500
- Good sound quality n bass also
- filter up the noise at least 80%
note: I'm used to be SONY NC22 user before, the noise canceling was quite amazon, but unfortunately the clarity and bass is very below expectation, compare to my sub RM100+ earphone this NC22 really disappoint me.
Now SONY had come out NC33 with 90% canceling instead of 75% from NC22, i wonder how's the sound quality?
other than SONY NC33, what are your other recomendation?
1) Only sennheiser???
Sennheiser HD228, HD438, HD518
if other brand can try search:
Marshall Major
Shure SRH440, 750Dj
AKG K430,
Denon AH-D1100
Audio technica AD500, A500, M50, Es55, Es7
2) u can try to use the ear foam >>> Comply Tips
If really wanna noise cancellation u can try search:
