Sony MDR XB-500 and Roccat Kave, which one more bassy?

Recommendations and promotions goes hand in glove. How can they recommend and not promote or promote without recommending? Thats like saying you want some water but not H2o.

Music i listen to: R&B, classical, Jazz, chinese jazz, sometimes techno and trance.
Overall im looking for a well balance earphone around my budget price which is more to bassy but not too bassy.

any recomendatio, im open to suggestions. am looking at superlux HD381 now. any better ones?

ive been using the regular iphone earphones until now. the remote didnt cause me any problems. just that the earphones fit very poorly and im looking for other with better sound.

this is my 1st time enrolled myself in audio world. previously was using sony headphone, those clip on the ear one (dont know what it call), however the soft pad cover was reput liao, so now i i would like to look for a head phone (budget around RM300-40o)

Have audition before DT231 and SR60i both are great headphones but looking for something better then that.....I was thinking of  AKG K430 but never get the chance to listen to it before.........any opinions or suggestions

My ears will ache whenever I wear earphones therefore it'll be nice to have headphones, and having ones that last more than a year (previous ones all broke within a few months)

for the headphones,i need wrap around ears type,not the clip,or the one that just covers my ears.it hurts them after some times

for the earphones,i need in-ears type,not the normal ones

need them for hearing music on my phone and laptop and also watch movies

don't need a mic

cord not long,about 1.2m should do

i'm trying to convince myself not to buy bose. but..i don't see anything out there better than the Quietcomfort 15 for in-flight noise canceling. sadly, in this arena, Bose is the benchmark.. or are they?
