hi, any feedback of cm sickle flow and xtraflow led fan?
*
Haven't tried Xtraflow yet , but if you have a V6GT you know thats an Xtraflow fan.

Sickleflow too noisy meh , i've used it after 3 months , 2 LED already died...

Its handling support for those who move a lot/LAN party..
I found it very useful.
Bold design, lots of features and easy access.
Storm Trooper is a promising case.
*
I don't think people move to Lan party with full tower case , the scout and sniper was perfect.

Cooler Master Elite 311 Plus!

Not sure the price yet, but sure will be a affordable budget chasis, comes with 1 usb 3.0 port and great cable management potential.
*
Meh... Looks like CM is making an effort to make all their new case , cable management friendly.. laugh.gif

Hi, anybody owns cm storm enforcer here? does it have good airflow?
*
Cooling is a bit restricted , you only have a 200mm front intake , and the outtake is only at the top 200mm/2X120mm and the I/O 120mm

QUOTE(waie @ Sep 11 2011, 03:37 AM)
thinking to take HAF912 Advanced, is there any other better option or that's the best?

Budget....?

RM300 smile.gif Looking to upgrade from Elite 430, so black interior, bottom mounted psu and good cable management
*
IMHO , if you can top up a little more bit. you can get a CM690 II Advance which is around RM369.

But if your budget is fixed there , you can take the option for a HAF 912 Advance @ RM299.

QUOTE(Jayi @ Sep 11 2011, 07:08 PM)
Actually which is better between cm690 II advanced and HAF 912 Plus ?
I think HAF 912 has very good cable management and good air flow as its High Air Flow series

Btw , ur pricing are way too exp as I can find Cm690 II advanced at Rm305 while Rm269 for HAF 912 Advanced
*
I was refering to C-zones pricing FYI btw.

Theres a lot on both cases.

CM690 II Advance :

Pros
- Good cable management (spacings on the hole for cable to pass through is bigger)
- Water cooling friendly (Option for 2 X 240mm at the top and at the bottom of the HDD Cage)
- Option for 10 fans (Non window version btw)
- Hot swap HDD ! (Easy access to your HDD)

Cons
- No PSU Filter (Which is a bit of a letdown , but you could face the fan upwards but you sucked in hot air for the psu)
- Cpu retaining hole sometimes doesn't fit against some heatsink cooler
- Doesn't support for really long graphic card like the HD6990 or GTX590

CM HAF 912 Plus

Pros
- Really good air flow (Especially from the fron intake 200mm and 230mm at the top for exhaust)
- Good support for the longest graphic card (you need to remove the HDD Cage though for cable clearance)
- PSU Area has filter! (Good air for your filter!)
- You can change the orientation of the HDD! (For cable clearance problems)
- Support for new generation USB 3 for the front panel.

Cons
- Cable mangement spacing is a bit small(IMHO)
- not really watercool friendly (you can only put a 140mm rad at the top)

I've heard about the Elite 311 Plus , pretty basic cable management , but seems okay for a budget case.

helo guys...i want to ask about adding cooling fans to my newly bought rig...

it is running on Cooler Master Elite 430 casing with Cooler Master Extreme Power Plus 550w PSU..currently only have 1 stock fan..that is the blue fan at the front panel...

i am doing graphics designing using Adobe Photoshop and some gaming...but not doing any overclocking...

what kind of fan should i put it in??..

Just add in a 120mm fan at the back as exhaust for the CPU area is already okay , and less noisy.

Mostly people recommend artic F12 but I been using hyper212+ with xtraflo. Air flow is best but the the noise will noticaeble after 1800rpm. So its best to be pair with cpu cooler as it has 4pin pwm control
Hahaha budget 'V6GT'  thumbup.gif  thumbup.gif

I chose the 912 since it can fit 6 HDD. IIRC the other casings from CM can only fit 5. But honestly enforcer looks cooler D:
*
Enforcer more LAN Friendly , got storm guard , and the ODD cover is really good.

As I know enforcer doesnt come with top 200mm fan, not like HAF 912. Just wonder the ODD cover wont be feel plasticky ?
*
Yup , you need to buy the 200mm separately , the ODD Cover , feels kinda plasticky , but can be assured that it's really tough plastic.

Really unknown for now...

Cause it really fits the budget case and little improvement could be made.
