Just an upgrade of my previous P2P rig, with new CPU, mobo, HDD, ODD and monitor.

Centurion 590 loaded with:
4x Lite-On DVD-RW drives
1x 2TB WD Black as OS drive
1x 2TB WD Green as data drive
2x 3TB WD Green as data drives
9800GT GPU (recycled)
Every single fan slot utilised and fans controlled by mobo and Aerocool Modern-V controller. All case fans are CM (the "90CFM" fans recycled, slim 80mm fan recycled, Excalibur new, 140mm blue LED new).
NZXT blue LED cable

Nothing overly creative, just trying to be efficient at ripping.

Haha thanks. Actually I own only original music CDs, and a whole lot of original DVDs (mostly TV box-sets from Amazon) and BDs. I just want to put them onto my home server, so I can stream them to all bedrooms (LCD TVs, PCs and media players), living room (HTPC, media player and projector; soon to upgrade to 3D HD projector) and kitchen (internet radio/media player). And with so many DVDs and CDs, having them available on-demand makes it a lot easier to find and play what I want.
*

Ahh no wonder. But then again it's still a pain when you are far away and want to changed the CD/DVD right? XD

Anyways gotten my HAF 912 Advanced

Sadly the side panel does not show my V6GT fully :*(

drool.gif  drool.gif Very nice looking casing. The pics provided at official cm website look fugly.
I been thinking to chg to enforcer / haf 912. But both casing are awesome and I had no idea which to take and how to sell off my current chassis  sweat.gif

I chose the 912 since it can fit 6 HDD. IIRC the other casings from CM can only fit 5. But honestly enforcer looks cooler D:

Was looking for some cheap casing lighting method and decided to use this tonight. Two LED USB lights connected to a USB hub. the USB hub can draw power from either the PC's USB slot or a Nokia charger, thus I can keep the PC bright even when it's turned off. Will affix it tonight after I go home

Most new mobo still have power when turned off in the USB for phone charging and such.

i think only usb 3 got power. usb 2 dont have. if your mobo have usb 3 then ok
*

And thus thinking is not enough. Most mobo manufacturers have implemented this feature for a while even before USB 3 was introduced. I have various 775 mobo that still can provide 5V through the USB 2 interface even after powering down the PC. Thats what the 5V stand by rail of the power supply is for, it provides power to the motherboard for basic functions and to attached USB devices that the board recognizes

ic..but then why does the thumbdrive lights turn off when u power down your pc if there is still power supplied to it?
*
Depends on Mobo. Some like Asus/MSI have it built in but you have to turn it on for it to work. Asrock usually works by default and so does ECS

Unless it's substantially higher than the v6 i think it should fit. I am using the v6gt in the same casing

icic... okok.. thn i shud consider for v8..  biggrin.gif

actually comparing the three (V6gt, V8 and V10), V10 is the shortest at 161mm compared to the V6gt at 165mm. Thus it would fit in the casing :3
