Hi all...
I've thinking to get a new casing as well as PSU for my rig... (to replace my cap-ayam Power logic psu and casing) sad.gif
And I will choose Cooler Master as my casing and PSU... But I don't really sure which one is a good combination... biggrin.gif

Combination 1 :

Cooler Master Elite 431 Plus + Cooler Master Silent Pro 500W PSU

Combination 2 :

Cooler Master 690 II Basic Casing + Cooler Master Silent Pro 500W.

So guys, which one is the good combination??

Oh, btw, the specification for my computer is ;

Pentium G620 Processor

Asrock H61M-GS Motherboard

WD Caviar Blue 1TB Sata HDD

LG Sata DVD-RW

Planning to add the middle-end gc in the future after I've got budget to change my monitor.... tongue.gif

Thanks guys... Waiting for the recommendation... wink.gif

if plan to upgrade more or add more... 690 might be the right choice..
if will venture to other brand or bigger space but want to get something normal... 431 is ur choice

that's my opinion...

I think I will settle with 431 Plus only. Since my psu is semi-modular, thus the cable management will not be an issue (despite I read that one of the disadvantages of Elite 431 is their horrible cable management design).

Some more, my rig is low-end only (Pentium G620, no graphic card) , so normal casing will be enough... Lol! tongue.gif

Hahaha... for sure wink.gif

Anyway, what is the different between CM 690 II basic and advance version?

Basic edition seems more cheaper than Advance one... RM219 vs RM310! Nearly 100% price different sweat.gif

um 5 things..
-external sata x-dock
-internal gpu holder
-2.5 ssd bracket
-included fans
-tool-free design

advance gives u the ability to add a ssd on the top of the chassis easily... | basic gives u a normal accessories bed
advance gives u an internal gpu holder | basic doesn't
advance gives u a 2in1 2.5 ssd bay adapter
advance is fully tool-less | basic offers 2 5.25" bay tool-free retentions, 2 normal retentions that needs screws
advance gives u 2 140mm fan (front and top) and a 120mm fan (exhaust) | basic gives u 2 120mm fan (front and exhaust)
both got LED switch
both can support 10 fans
both are fully equipped for any modern systems
both has dust filters on both, black interior, modular bay
advance version is fully loaded with comprehensive features |  basic version best for tweakers/modders and is a best canvas for ur pc dream

Wow! Nice explanation you have there..... But some google revealed that CM 690 II does not include with the dust air filter at the bottom of power supply compartment.... Unlike the Elite 341 where it was included.... sad.gif

Okay... just got my new casing and power supply last week, and only free to install install it today.... notworthy.gif
It's just a simple and cheapo case and power supply... CM Elite 311 + Gigabyte Power Rock 500W PSU....
But what I like about this casing is, although it's cheap and oriented to the budget user, but it have such a decent cable management area which I really like it... biggrin.gif This case costs me RM110 which seems affordable....

Suitable for my low end rig and this case is 150% better than my old Power Logic Azzura case...... thumbup.gif laugh.gif

Front view of the case, unfortunately, it's too glossy and I didn't adore it much... Hate to see my own face.. laugh.gif

The view from inside of case with all of the hardware has been properly installed

The best cable management that I can do with this case... or perhaps, I can do it more better than this??

Backside of the case which you can hide the ATX and front panel connector cable....

Wow... Thanks bro for the link. Your cable management was IMPRESSIVE! thumbup.gif
How did you managed to hide all of those cable at the right side of the case? I really hope to do like that, but unfortunately,
the cable supplied with the powerock 500W kinda short, even the ATX 4 pin connector cannot be hidden on the right side if the case... sweat.gif

Anyway, how much did you bought that Gemini cooler?
