I believe cm690 II will perform better in term of cooling if you having good fans at all slot. As Enforcer only hav front megaflow intake, the cooling might not be as good as cm690 II. But FYI the megaflow in enforcer (called CM storm force) is 1k rpm which mean can perform very well compare to megaflow in HAF series only 700rpm. While the Enforcer is new product and looks nicer in every angle. My personal opinion , Enforcer > Cm 690 II

QUOTE(Polytechnic @ Nov 4 2011, 11:04 PM) Hi PROs , i am building my first gaming rig You should the budget for casing only instead of the total budgetI am on budget of 3500$RM Should i buy 912 advanced or 922 RED for mid tower Btw 922 RED is around Rm350 while 912 advanced only around RM280. (price for reference only) HAF 912 has more advantages compare to 922 as it has all the latest feature like SSD cage, hdd removable cage for gpu clearance, usb 3 port etc Personally I dont like red interior but I lprefer the look of haf 922 compare to 912 |

According to the speedfan reading ur stock cooler running at 5k rpm and tats definitely making loud noiseAdded on November 10, 2011, 9:00 pm » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « this is the reading it shows. so which fan reading should i change/alter? advise pls. thx |

QUOTE(cmgan72 @ Nov 10 2011, 11:48 PM) indeed, in the meanwhile, u could just adjust the fan speed to like 30-40%. amd stock cooler always has this kind of problem. the best solution is change to a better cooler. But from the speedfan temp for cpu, its looks quite low. Perhaps go into bios and double check the fan control for cpu ? I always set mine to silent operation which will maintain low rpm unless there is load |

QUOTE(em0ti0n @ Nov 19 2011, 09:11 PM) well i thought 912 will be heavier, but reality, it was lighter than 690.. I guess you din get the latest model of HAF 912 which comes with USB 3.0 internal header instead of yours current typeand i dislike the usb3.0 adapter at the front, coz it need to be connected to usb3.0 port at the back plate, not at the mobo.. |

QUOTE(SnoopyDevil @ Nov 23 2011, 06:12 PM) As bro Ulysses said in prevous posts, you get what you pay. You cant expect much good things in a casing with such budget. You more you pay, the better casing you get. For example corsair carbide 500R and Sliverstone Raven 02. Both are gooding and nice looking casing with tons of features and either one will cost you Rm400-Rm500 This post has been edited by Jayi: Nov 23 2011, 06:29 PM |

QUOTE(Source96 @ Dec 4 2011, 07:12 PM) » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « My lovely Trooper.A question here can i fit a 240 radiator at the bottom?? QUOTE Going on from the top of the case it is also possible to fit a 240mm radiator in the floor of the case towards the front, its not officially support but you could easily bolt in a 50mm thick 240mm radiator. If you got your tools out and cut a blow hole or trimmed the case a bit you could fit a 60mm rad with fans down there if you were prepared to move the hard drive cages up so it could breathe. Talking of the hard drive cages if you remove those all together you could fit a 360mm radiator in the front of the case if you got handy making some mounts. Source 2 QUOTE On a side note that we must mention here is that the Trooper is capable of housing two 240mm radiators, one at the top and one at the bottom-front. A top-mounted radiator would be easy enough to get in just by removing the included 200mm fan. The bottom rad would require removing the hidden tool drawer and SSD caddy. Cooler Master also says that you can fit in a 480mm (quad) radiator with some minor modifications to the from of the chassis. Added on December 6, 2011, 12:22 pm QUOTE(MotionFlow @ Dec 5 2011, 02:45 PM) cuz i go for warranty.. then the guy say one of my ram overheat ady.. Believe me, it isnt worth for you go for CM v10 which is cost almost rm400dats y i wanna get CM V10.. cn cool the RAM n Proc.. Ram arent suppose to be overheat, perhaps you are just unlucky get an fault ones FYI, there are alot value rams out there and they are without heatsink and yet they dont get overheat. Furthermore, Corsair Dominator hav tall heatsink which would certainly provide a good enough cooling This post has been edited by Jayi: Dec 6 2011, 12:22 PM |

QUOTE(MotionFlow @ Dec 6 2011, 03:15 PM) Ohh.. Thn wats sifu opinion? sorry... newbie here... in my mind, i stil gt 2 other option which is v6gt or v8.. First of all , are you overclocking ? If isnt, dont waste money buying aftermarket cpu cooler as the stock one can do the cooling pretty well. V6gt can outperform v8 but might be noisy for some people Btw, there are actually a lot good cpu cooler in the market and just pick the one which suit ur budget. QUOTE(DarkNite @ Feb 12 2012, 05:44 PM) Looks bit cheapo with that blue. Can try DIY by spraying them to black to match the casing Anyway, is there any blowhole / air vent at side panel ? As I know, enforcer suppose to have a clear plain window panel only . If there isnt any, why would place fan there Btw nice casing you got there bro This post has been edited by Jayi: Feb 12 2012, 05:54 PM |
