Have always wondered why they(Lian Aik Toys) are selling irrelevant American model cars in Malaysia. I would love to see more European or Asian makes but unfortunately the importer do not care what most of us here wants.

Did you buy it from Hongkie. Some Hongkie sells very expensive. There is another Hongkie,busybeetoys, selling for USD42 (incl. shipping) Don't always believe in the numbers indicating Ltd. edition @ this price for a 1/24 is OK but for 1/43, very stiff.

Bought a black one from a China ebayer, without acrylic casing, for exactly RM 71.25 (inclusive of postage) I suppose you are talking about a 1/43. This is a new release & not exactly an obsolete model. Will only pay so much if it is a rare or discontinued model.

I must say though, Ebbros are always immaculate. Comparable to Minichamps, J-collection/Kyosho, Norev,IXO or Vitesse

Well.......... hard to be a die cast model manufacturer. Can't please everyone. Well, at least they make a lot of cars found on our notoriously bad Malaysian roads.
