Is there any problem with iBooks?
The download bar already showing 100% already downloaded, but the book downloaded seems cannot be saved. Anybody else suffering the same problem?

Just wanna share my experience here on my i3G:
-wifi better. Even if the line is kinda weak, my i3G can still remain on wifi connection, as before this always drop. -i experiment with two types of iOS4. One is the current one, the other one is the Golden Master Candidate (GM). Both .ipsw file are different only in term of size. The GM version slightly bigger than the current iOS4. After meddling with both version, I must say, the GM version felt much snappier than the current iOS4. App load faster, multitask less lag (I enable multitask function). |

QUOTE(barteria @ Jun 24 2010, 12:07 AM) wifi better eh? didn't notice that coz my home wifi is strong enough. i always had that weak wifi signal issue b4. will look up to that one later when im going somewhere known with weak wifi signal. Yup..I got my friend, using 3GS, on 3.1.3, cannot find any wifi signal whereas me, using 3G, using iOS4, can easily gain at least one bar, and maintained that connection. btw, does the multitasking shows any sign of lagging the phone performance? For the multitasking part, yes it does decrease my 3G performance if I left all the backgrounded process running (Settings, Clock, Mail, Camera, etc). Thats why I gradually manually terminate all the process, either via tap-and-hold the icon and tap the "-" sign, or, using SBSettings. But I must say, even with all those running processes, my 3G perform much much better comparing using Backgrounder back in 3.1.x. This post has been edited by dzerg: Jun 24 2010, 12:31 AM |

QUOTE(benny888 @ Jun 25 2010, 11:56 PM) More bad news about the iPhone 4 construction : some units were found the volume buttons wrongly switched OMG...Im just planning to get one...but hearing all this crap regarding yellow spot, wrong buttons, antenna problem, its just getting "better" and "better". I know its the first batch, but, IMHO, they dont need to rush things up. Even a lil bit delayed, people are still going to buy this iPhone, as long as the quality is not compromised.http://9to5mac.com/node/18548 |

I still don't get it why people all around the world still talking s**t about iPhone's grip of death and all other bad stuff about it.
I may sound like a total Apple/Mac/iPhone fanboy, but this is just a mere perspective from a humble customer of another product. People can bash and complaints what ever they want, and I respect them. Its their rights to voice out. But still, all of the people's complaints are showing one thing... These guys love Apple. You want it to be perfect as you want it to be. This antenna problem causing a very large crowd of people to complaint from all over the world. What am I so surprise about is the magnitude of people complaining regarding the antenna issue, and they still keeping their iPhone. Normally, when people buy stuff, when the stuff that they bought facing any problem, they return it back to the shop: 1. If you bought a car, suddenly suffered some acceleration pedal stuck on the carpet, you return it back. 2. If you bought a faulty blender, you send it back. 3. Bought a can of sardine, without realizing the sardine inside is polluted, you send it back. but... 4. You bought an iPhone, it have some antenna problem, you keep it.........(huh?) I just dont get it........... |

QUOTE(stringfellow @ Jul 17 2010, 07:54 AM) Trollbait posts reported. Nicely said. Let's make this easy. You feel that it affects your perception/bang for your buck/impression of the iPhone 4 after the press conference, then don't buy it. Otherwise proceed. Frankly, all this makes it easier for me to get more units for myself. I silently pray that the majority wanting the iPhone 4 cancel their intent on getting one on the next launch wave so that I can just simply stroll in into one of the Australian Apple Store and get one without having to line up. For those who makes so much fuss and noise about this issue, don't let me catch you with a single question/query or interest in possession of /about the iPhone 4 in the future. I have no qualms quoting your sneering comments about this the moment I catch you with any hint of ever owning or mentioning the slightest interest in one. So much vocality and chest-thumping when you don't even have one. Come back here when you've gathered courage enough to get one by asking others to be your scapegoat to get, by your definition, a "perfect" iPhone 4. Typical Malaysian mentality. By the way, my deary i4 already on its way. Already shipping. Just wait for the Fedex/UPS guy to show up. I love my Mac and my 3G. And I will love my i4.... |

QUOTE(shdwkillr @ Aug 9 2010, 02:45 AM) May I know which country set of the ip4 you got from and did you get your Bumper from the ip4 case program? If so, how long it takes for it to arrive and is it the black one? If not, may I know where did you get it? I bought mine from UK, took about a month for the iPhone 4 to reach my cousin's home. I buy it along with Bumper. But after Apple annouced free Bumper with every purchase of iPhone 4, they refunded back my money into my account.Guys, I would like to ask on the ip4 case program, if I were to order the Apple Bumper, which only shows black availability in the program, am I able to change to another color of choice in any way? Thanks. Hopes that helps. Cheers! |

Dear all iPhone masters and sifus,
I somehow stumble across a thread (not remember where and when), but some say Celcom network not so suitable with iPhone, including my iPhone 4. At first I kinda doubt that, but lately, it happens to be kinda true. Whenever I turn off my 3G to preserve battery, when I make a call, for sure the call will drop in about 2-4 seconds after the call is picked up. Same happened on the other way around, when I received a call. This doenst happen at all when I am on 3G network. Only happen when I'm on EDGE or GPRS. To say it's because I'm JB'ed my phone, I'm pretty sure I have done my homework by not JB'ed my iPhone 4 and after that try make a call using EDGE or GPRS network. Same happens. Is it because of Celcom? Thank you for any clarifications. Cheers! |
