downloading itunes 9.2 now before upgrading to iOS4. just need some clarification from the sifus here. my ip is not jbed and running on version 3.1.3. i read from this thread that it is advisable to restore the phone b4 upgrading. can i skip this step? i dont want to lose all my smses, my whatsapp logs and my saved games. like need for speed underground, i just dont want to replay all the levels again to unlock and buy cars sweat.gif

so can i just skip the restore phone part and just update? plus im planning to make sure my ip is on full battery and just restart it b4 upgrading to the new OS. advise plz.

finally upgraded to the new os. took like an hour to download it and after that everything was a breeze. my ip was on v3.1.3 previously and wasnt jbed. im a digi user. so far im liking the new features especially the folders option. i used to have 9 pages on my ip. but now, managed to reduce it to 2 pages.

and as mentioned somewhere in this thread. some saved contact numbers does goes missing. after looking into it, i found out that this happens if u have saved a contact with 2 numbers saved under the same category eg ur friend have 2 hp numbers and u saved both under mobile category. strange glitch indeed. i had to edit 1 number under mobile and the other one as others.

Hey, anyone having problems about the iPhone 3GS's battery life after official Software update of 4.0.2 ?

i havent encountered any problems yet with battery life with the iOS 4.02. just after upgrading, the signal somehow seems low. quite hard to get full bar whereas with 4.0 i will always get full bar
