here,we just share and discuss..that's why we call it a forum..don't take it too deeply..it's just a phone anyway...the design is so damn good but yet so expensive for a person like me.
As i mention in my previous post, i just need a confirmation that someone living n currently in malaysia did the same test or replicate it like in the video..that's all..
And if the answer to that question of yours has already been posted by others and counter-confirmed by others in other related thread, BEFORE you asked for the confirmation, how is asking it again gonna change that? Does it mean that if another person after this suddenly ask the same question again, that Masamune's reception issue is suddenly gonna disappear, or my iPhone suddenly exhibit reception problems?
My advise? Read. There is a reason why people post. Not to socialise, not to post one-liner kopitiam-style post to "seronok2 saja", and personally for me, certainly not to get more post count or more visibility in the forum. If that is my intention, I'd be posting all over the place, and repeating the answer to that question every time someone else posted it. Frankly, I'm tired of repeating myself over and over again, and it's getting from "helping to correct misinformation" to "annoying".
Bottom line? Reception issue? Mine, Beavis, Yuvanesh, Harmeet, ksc_3688 and his sister's iPhone 4, exhibit zero issues. Among us covers all kinds of combinations, on Maxis and Celcom, with or without bumper, manually cut simcard or official Maxis microsim.
One issue with Masamune with the reception issue. That is one our of 7, with other owners not participating in this discussion (syzwn, his brother, other owners not in Malaysia like chizzu) not even bother mentioning about reception issues because its either nonexistant, or trivial/minor. So, worse case scenario, 1 out of 7. That is 14% problem rate, and 86% zero issues. Take it what you will. I'm probably the more vocal kind of iPhone user who has zero problems with their units, most if not all the others who had their iPhone 4s working fine, are not bothered to post anything to counter the FUD about reception issue because their units are working as it should. My role in here is to correct any misinformation spread around by providing my own personal experience on my own iPhone 4. If that is not enough credentials to you to believe what I say, and still doubt and think I'm covering Apple's butt for some personal agenda, then I'm loss for words.
Okay then, I've a negative to post about the iPhone 4. It's hard to take care of, since both sides are glass. Probably not much, but hey, others are looking at me like I'm an Apple shill, for to their eyes, it looks like I'm posting only the good part of it. Honestly, if I have the supposed reception problems, I'll be the first and loudest to complain. But I freaking don't have such problem!
