Actually this few days i have been reading this thread alot. i find out that this thread is exiting as the MBC forum i always read. Actually i never thought that Lyn have LC135 club. i usually leisure here just to indulge in to the PS3 forum lol.

well i also one of the LC135 owner and just wanna ask some question about it. my question is in tuning the carburator in a standard/ stock motorcycle (mainjet 105, pilot jet 20, if i were not mistaken), do we need only touch the mainjet by one size to get a brownish spark plug color? (a mark for excellent combustion), what about the pilot jet?. do we not need to touch at all the pilot jet?

i was asking this because on the MBC forum, they recommended to touch the 2 jetting.

1) first set the suitable mainjet size, meaning if the side electrode part and center electrode part become brownish in color. then stop setting, use that mainjet

2) second, look at the housing of the center electrode, if it brownish, its ok, but if it black, set a small size of pilot jet, if it white, set a large size of pilot jet.

3) conclusion from here is, if u touch the mainjet, u need to touch the pilot jet also...

is this true?..

PJ and MJ mean for different throttle range, if u know what I mean.
Both jets will affect the spark plug reading.

Adjust PJ because it affects pickup at low throttle range. 1/8-1/4 throttle. If you ride more using this setting, then you will see plug color change if you change PJ.

Adjust MJ affects top speed and full throttle acceleration. MJ affect only useful when full throttle and engine RPM reach high, because carb intake speed need to be high to pull petrol out through MJ.

My suggestion, adjust PJ first, then slowly move up to jet needle clip, then only MJ.
there's nothing wrong with my default settings. its so smooth and i like it. the pickup is so good for a stock bike where i can pull up to 60kmh on gear 2 and 120kmh on gear 3 and later on top speed at 140kmh on flat road and 150kmh - 160kmh ( this one rarely but achievable) when downhill. and i rarely use 1/8 -1/4 throttle on my journey to work, 3/4-4/4 is my favourite..120km per day to and fro.

my problem actually is my lust for top speed drool.gif and the true ability for LC135 without any cut off that the government have enforced. therefore my goal is to achieve at least 150kmh and max 160kmh on flat road but not compromising the sprocket settings (stock) & engine settings (stock). the only thing that i wanted to change is the carburator settings and CDI to at least BRT dualband. as for now i only put stromberg powerbooster cable plug and that is why i can get 150kmh downhill..before that..the top speed will still be dead at 140kmh.

is what im telling u now enough to atleast achieve 150kmh on flat road?. about the jet needle clip setting..how to make that?..could u pls explain this to me? ive learnt that racing CDI will give more spark thus carburator need to be tuned accordingly to give better result?..pls comment on this tq..

hello guys got some problem here..

im now borrowing my friend BRT CDI digital hyperband - first generation. he is going oversea

my LC is all standard, while using standard CDI i can accelerate to top speed of 140kmh in a very short time..but when using BRT CDI digital hyperband, gear 1,2,3 is very good but at 4, to reach top speed of 140kmh is quite imposible infact i can only get 120kmh - 130kmh?!!.

installation of this CDI is plug n play..and its for LC no mistake about that..

anybody can help me here?..haha sorry im very noob at this..

this one is not the adjustable one...so its just pnp...only have red LED..if it ON..the LED will glow...thats all..

mine is grey+white, not this red one...but my LED is not blue..its red..a well tomorrow i try upload the picture..haihs..so sad now..if not add HP just be better than my standard CDI is ok lor..

and say if (i have already read the website), my regulator/ rectifier is broken or my fuse snap why is it there's no problem when i put my standard CDI back?...i see all the electrical is functioning well no problem at all...or am i not looking hard enough?...may be there is inside damage i cant see?...pls help..

wah alexei..thx alot man..ur answer i think is the most accurate among other forumers i asked about this problem..so ok then..if LED lights up, means got problem..i understood now..i read the CDI manual and it says if the light is up these thing might happens...

1) er something wrong with my battery...battery kong..maybe
2) rectifier kong..
3) fuse snap
4) rectifier has a limiter..

conclusion..i might have to change to a higher amp rectifier and battery is it?...well any recommendation on the what type or brand should i change these part to?...
