QUOTE(DevilVanc @ Jul 27 2010, 06:31 PM)
I found this blog:
Choice between NSR, TZM & KIPSIt sums up few things:
1. DevilVanc is right.
2. It takes NSR 2nd gen or NSR SP to beat a TZM.
Additional sharing:
TZM only have 1 look throughout lifetime. Only some minor mods to engine.
NSR had 3 version, 1st one with rim lidi, NSR RR & NSR SP (Proarm). All NSR rear rims are 18inch, hard to find tire...
KIPS has ~5: KR150A - KR150C, the latest is KR150F, if not mistaken. Older KIPS rear rims 18inch also...

TZM spec:
HP: 36 ps at 10500rpm
Tork: 2.5 kgfm at 9500 rpm
NSR spec:
Horsepower : 39.5 ps at 10,500 rpm
Torque : 2.75 kg-m at 10,000 rpm
KIPS RR:
Daya Maksimum : 22,1 KW ( 30,1 PS ) / 10.500 RPM
Torsi Maksimum : 21,6 Nm / 9.000 RPM
Compare the tork, you know who better liao.
Add-on:
Aprilia RS125:
Horsepower 33 bhp @ 11,000 rpm (derestricted)
*ps is measured at engine output.
*bhp is true power measured at the wheel... estimate you lose about ~2-5 hp by the time reach the tyre.
RS125 wins...

hey bro Alex.. wanna ask something.. my fren ride rgv right.. he recently change fork oil.. and then just now he complain to me.. saying he go over bump.. got 'pak' sound.. he got a feeling like his front rim going to break soon.. LOL.. u got experience that ar..? he go bump only can feel that.. who else change fork oil experience that..? so far i feel my rim and front tyre still intact properly...
Mine also like that... that's the "topping out" of the fork... this means, the fork will extend all the way until reach max length, then hit the limit.
Ask your friend to confirm, it "tok" loud after the wheel cross the bump, and try to reach for the road, right?
