Hey, I'm looking for a loud digital metronome, I currenly have the wind-up type which is pretty inaccurate(the tempo gets faster after a while due the the metal 'thing' dropping as it tick tock tick tock. The digital ones I've seen such as Joyo are pretty soft, which is fine when I play my guitar, but I use it for the piano too, and it'll be drowned out then. So.. any loud digital metronomes to recommend? This post has been edited by JayLew: Jun 21 2010, 02:38 PM

Yeah JS Music has it. I bought it online actually. Easy to use and it's handy.

DB30 is smaller and less functions. DB60 has more functions, such as more rhythm patterns, memory function for storing song rhythm patterns, pitch for tuning instrument, timer, stopwatch etc....... Price is about rm200.

Ahhh, I did not know eletronic metronome could built in so many functions. I use a Joyo too. It is an instrument tuner, tone generator and metronome. Yes, I do find the number of choices limited and the volume too soft. I am not to good when it come to dotted notes (those that you increase by 1 and half time) and the selection is poor. Recently the metronome just went kaput on me. One of the problems with eletronics is they have the tendency to fail after the warranty period. I decided to use some programming to make my own metronome that also plays the tune. With the help of our friends from the codemasters forum, I managed to pull of this project. This certainly give me an idea of the other functions to incorporate to my custom made metronome. This post has been edited by faceless: Sep 28 2010, 09:55 AM
