hi, just got my hd2 yesterday. my rom is 3.14.707.3 and radio 2.15.50.14. is it recommended to downgrade the rom to enable 576 ram? does 576 ram speed up application? or just stay 446 ram. please advise. thanks...

Your radio is good. If your rom has 576 RAM then r u ready for android too . If not u might need custom rom like Dutty, Elegencia, Energy etc etc to enabled it

hi, my hd2 got rom v3.14.707.3 (04666)wwe (spl 3.03) & radio v2.15.50.14. what procedures to install custom rom such energy rom? 1) downgrade spl 3.03 to spl 1.66 2) hspl3 to get spl 2.08 3)install energy rom. Does the procedures above right? Please advise. thanks in advance.

you can't. it's sold with sd card. but it has been discontinued due to garmin-asus collaboration.

it's like windows 95, if you try to copy it from your friend, you will go to jail, or worst, banned from lowyat forum. (you can still access forum from jail).

winmo, wait, still got chance, I am currently testing with aGPS in Energy ROM OFF, looks fine so far, dunno if my new case blocking signal or what, need to do further testing

BTW my 2 of my white silicone cases turned yellow already? possible of heat from the phone that make it like that?

EDIT 2 : Finally got my activation code, i am now the proud owner of an activated WP7 HD2 phone

i'm thinking of the possibility of getting HD2 also, since the 2nd hand price is quite ok now, and i am quite interested in the flexibilty to use either WP7 or Android on the same phone. means i don't need to change phone if i want to try either one of those OS. any advice?

those replacement battery brand like momax or kingmax , hows their performance
was thinking to get those to replace my 1 yrs old battery , getting weaker.

adida (not sure the spelling) 1600mA was good for about 6 months. after 6 months it can only charge up to 90% and will drain very fast.

momax is quite good, even with lower mA than origianl, it can last longer than original, but it can get very hot (50°C). when it get above 40°, your phone will stop charging (still can use, no problem).

btw, don't order momax online directly from momax. their price are too high. try to get from local shop first. there was this guy selling on ebay (http://myworld.ebay.com.my/eshopmomax) but currently he's stop selling. you can try PM him to ask if he's still selling. bad english, maybe can ask in chinese. or if you got friend visiting hk, you can ask them to buy for you.

my original battery is still good after 1 year 5 months.
