I will take picture later.

The side skirt hit the divider while driving up a parking lot. Dent is quite bad but not sure it can be fixed easily. It's the bottom part of the car below the door sidestep.

So sad..not even me driving. I am quite mad as it is the driver's side which can easily be avoided as that is the side nearest to driver which can be estimated easily. If it's like the other side then can say hard to estimate. Cause driver says new car..cannot estimate. I should have seen the sign when the driver took corner and totally went to the other side of the road.

Anyone know how much to fix?

Okay, added the real picture of the damage.....

there are shops who would hammer it back for it... since its actually part of the car... smile.gif
some sideskirts are different materials, and there are often able to be replaced....

don't worry, some shops will probably charge about 300ish to hammer it back and paint. workmanship depends on them... try not to bargain too low and rush them for it... as they would rush through the job and it would not look as good lo

is it the metal part or plastic?? shouldn't be a big problem since your car is black and new (black easier to match).

Seen my mech done this job alot.

1st they going to grind the dent area.
2nd weld a hook too pull the dent area.
3rd grind the welded area to smooth the surface.
4th put putty or cement to make it really smooth
lastly paint. It will look as new.

its metal. its part of the body. so have to ketuk back, patch, repaint.
if i were you, i would just add a side-skirt onto the car before sending car for repainting that part smile.gif good excuse to get skirtings!
