Need some advise as due to some family commitments, we are thinking of moving within 2H2010.
Requirement as follows:
1. preferably near lrt (walking distance is much appreciated)
2. landed properties that can house 2 vehicles side by side preferred
3. prefer large built up eg. >2000 sq ft
4. must have sizeable bedroom on lower floor (at least can fit in king size bed + wardrobe
5. prefer freehold
6. prefer PJ area

optional requirements:
1. prefer fully renovated units
2. if basic units or basic reno units, the unit should preferably be cheap

Have been scouting around recently and notice the ridiculous surge in pricing for landed properties in pj area.

my fren bought a 23x70 in ss25 2 years ago at rm350k and guess how much is the price now?
i just viewed two units in ss25:
1) fully renovated 20x70 asking for rm600k
2) 22x80 basic reno asking for rm590k

ss23 are all asking for average at rm700k and above
ss4 are all asking for avergae rm600k and above

anybody can help me?

anybody have any idea on taman bahagia area or paramount area?

PS: if the above materialise, thinking of selling either my crimson unit or subang bestari landed unit.

how much is your budget for >2000 sq ft landed?

below half a million a presume?

if below half a million i presume it should be quite a basic unit and probably run down unit.
i would consider if it is very well renovated then it should exceed half a million.
no fix budget. depends on the unit and whether it clicks with us or not.
