Takeru Satoh (Kamen Rider Den-O actor) was confirmed and will going to be Kenshin Himura for the Live-Action Rurouni Kenshin @ Samurai X The Movie which is currently scheduled for a 2012 release!

22-year-old actor Takeru Satoh (Kamen Rider Den-O, Rookies, Beck, Ryōmaden) will star in a live-action film adaptation of Nobuhiro Watsuki's Rurouni Kenshin samurai manga next year. Keishi Ōtomo will direct Satoh on this new film, just as he did in last year's NHK historical television series Ryōmaden. Warner Brothers Pictures Japan is producing with its president William Ireton, while Studio Swan (Paradise Kiss) is in charge of the actual film production.

The Sankei Sports newspaper adds that the staff aims to release the film internationally and eventually make a series. This will be the first live-action adaptation of the manga.

Producer Shinzō Matsuhashi commented, "Satoh has the looks and stature to be a proper Kenshin." Watsuki added that when this project was just starting, he and his wife were discussing who should play Kenshin, and decided that Satoh topped the list.

Satoh himself said that he was a huge fan of the original manga when he was in elementary school and when the manga was still running. "It was the manga that everyone in my generation knew." He added that he and his friends would play around by pretending to sword-fight. Satoh began intensive training in sword-fighting earlier this month, and filming will begin in July.

Nobuhiro Watsuki's original 1994-1999 manga ran in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine and the resulting 28 compiled books volumes have 50 million copies in print. The manga inspired a television anime series that is celebrating its 15th anniversary this year. Viz Media published the manga in North America, and Media Blasters' AnimeWorks label released the television anime.

ADV Films released two later original video anime projects and a film on DVD, and Aniplex is releasing these three titles on Blu-ray Disc this year. in April, Shueisha announced that a new Rurouni Kenshin anime project has been green-lit.

Candroids are the usual 99, triceratops can has anninteresting feature... Shooting medals.


Anyway managed to mod my Double Driver as well, gonna think of how to deal with the OOO driver later.



And hard to believe I came so far after lusting for medals by touching the Sagojoh medals

lol shooting medals xD. It will be painful if you put the die cast ones it LOL. I just use rubber band for my belts(not the usual normal kind though, the much more longer kind like the ones they use for slingshots). Thats for temporary though. I'm planning to use foams or something stronger and nicer then I'll spray paint it and add details if needed.

And haha yeah, my first medals was the SaGoZou medals too(it was a gift) and now I have half box of candy medals(selling half of it now though D: not enough income lol), a full set of another candy medals, 3 sets of medal set and the belt lol. I still need TaJa Spinner(for TaJaDor Medals) and the summer movie medals to complete my set!

[ADD] Oh yeah! Do they have stocks for the Medal Holder? Need that now D:

No medal holder

So the Purple Medals are there already right? Told ya. And wow, you have 6 Cells. I only have 4. 3 in Medajalibur and 1 from the Medal Holder only.

Yeah.. but the Peacock fan can just keep goign and going and going if you keep pressing the button.

A demo on Premium Bandai Exclusive's Kamen Rider OOO O-Medal USB Memory. Fully diecast covers (Core Medals).



Mr.S from CSToys International shows that the DX Core Medals/Cell Medal from DX OOO Driver are not size accurate like in the TV show. The O-Medals USB Memory's Core Medals covers are the one that show accurate in term of size.

Yet another single core medal.
But i guess this one, every one will die for it

Actually, this month's Terebi-kun has a better Medal, the Kangaroo Core. I believe, the Shadow Moon Medal might only say either "Dark Rider, Ganbaride or Kamen Rider" from the OOOs Driver, the Kangaroo one is definitely a better deal. I got mine just now thanks to a friend helping me pick it.

It is how our new Fourze send his farewell gift to our OOO who is leaving soon.

Ok, so I spent the morning tinkering with the OOO driver belt. The problem was that the belt didn't use a simple anchor bar to anchor the belt strap to the driver like the Double belt.

The ends look like this when you open the side connector.



They probably designed it this way either to take the weight of the medal holder and scanner, or to deter simple belt extension mods

So, what I did was I took the luggage strap and cut 3 small slits into the appropriate places. Then pressed them into the pegs.



I tried to do some bit of reinforcement by mounting some staples around the holes, and also burning the strap a bit to tighten those ends. If I knew how to use a sewing machine or had more time I guess I'd stitch reinforce it properly. But so far it seems to hold.

Ya like Redracer said, it's probably gonna say Dark Rider or Ganbaride or something. I have the Black RX medal and it said ''KAMEN RAIDA''. Most of these non main Riders will not have accurate sounds.

Just get Kangaroo Medal la. Kangaroo Medal says Kangaroo but similar with Panda, no combo sound.

Will do. Kinda like the Movie Core Sasori medals eh? No combo sound but do read their names.

I've always want to buy the Faiz Axel Watch but I couldn't find one and afford it (they're expensive and sold at a very ridiculous price). Now I finally able to own one. My second Kamen Rider 555/Faiz collection after Kaixa Shot. Just got it today (July 4th 2011).








^ Even the batteries I bought it is "555" brand. =)
