Another thing is, if you're going for Engine, UNITEN is quite hard. Maybe very to some. I've heard many people scoring 4flats in other places after being kicked out of UNITEN.

Permanent in what sense?Going to have 3 long sems every year?No, it is not. This is a one time deal only.To show it plainly, we are now at semester 2 which will end on April. With the new academic calendar, semester 1 will starts on May instead of the usual July and up until August or early September. Semester 2 will start on November up until the end of December. Now using the new academic calendar, we are going to have short semester or special semester from January till March, which after that students will have holidays for 2 months for those who wanted to take short sem. But like I said earlier, 3rd year 2nd sems student should be graduating on April of 2012 but with this new academic calendar, most of had to extend up until November in order to finish up our project 1 and project 2 since ther eis no longer long sem after december. Thus in order to compensate us in one way or another, they will extend the short semester which is on January into a long sem that will end around March for this one time only unless the academic calendar will have to change again. Just take it as a transition semester. We are shifting the starting date of the semester.

In order to make adjustment for the academic calendar, there are 2 option.Either giving everyone extra 2 months holiday after the end of this sem, which will end at april and everyone doing degree program has to start the new semester on September, or "sacrifice" the 3rd year 2nd sem student which will benefit all the other student especially those who are left with 1 semester. The 1st year or 2nd year student who wanted to cut short on their studies can take 5 long semester non stop starting from this May
