hi im going to join uniten soon... could anyone tel me the estimated amount of living expenses per month? accomnodation, transport , meals , bla bla bla .... do i need to apply for accomodation first before i go ?

u foundation student?
if so uniten will provide u accommodation...
living expenses in here i think around 800++ la...

if u're living inside, the accomodatino getting rome exp, maybe can reach RM300 anytime... but now is RM200++ for accomodation... if u dun have car and walk/take bus to campus, u will need around RM300~500 more for food.. depends on ur appetite...

So the expenses will cost u around RM 500~700 per month... But for first few monnth will be more due to buying of books.. etc

(The above dun includes the fees and tuition... cos they are already in your bill)


If living outside.. With car and petrol + utilities bill and entertaintment... i would say RM900 ~ Unlimited (U can spend anywhere u like.... lol)


But again, this figures varies depend on your expenditure on materials or services....

i just got accepted to uniten for EE in degree. i'm wondering if we can bring our own car since i heard that only 2nd years are allowed to bring their own vehicles..

mmm. last question, i'm wondering is it necessary to wear tudung during lecture and orientation?

Firstly, if this is your first year in Uniten, then you're not allowed to brings vehicles to campus, bicycles are allowed though
But, i brought my car in when i was in my second semester itself, they don't really care.

Secondly, if you're a guy, then you don't need to wear tudung yo. haha
Nah, tudung is optional, i think.

When're you joining btw? September?

yes the september intakes. ahh? since i'm from sabah, my dad is thinking of buying me a car there so i don't have to rush to lectures and such.

I dunno. Some wear, some don't. Why don't you come here and see for yourself, or just do whatever you feel comfortable

Besides, if you're gonna be doing engineering, you wouldn't need a car. Both female apartments are close to the college of engineering

But yes, you will need a car to move around, you have to go out of Uniten to get good food and entertainment.

Girls usually dont need car. Girls hostel just beside the college. Only if you want to travel outside for leisure and entertainment, then you need a car.

Nope it is not necessary at all. You want to wear also can, dont want to wear also can. Welcome btw!

pegawai kat accomodation i.e amanah dan cendi memang sporting terutama encik harun dan encik saimi (amanah).


uniten memang generates professional. semua kawan kawan aku dapat keje lepas grad. kitaorang akan konvo bulan oktober 2011.

im gonna join uniten soon.. will be taking foundation in civil engineering. need some advice about the syllabus, is it hard to score 3.0 pointer. and, wht's the requirement to cont degree there. it's not stated in their website so far. tq in advance.

---> Plusmore, dont skip class frequently
---> Just stick with the flow, if people study u just follow them, keep in touch with book .
