Added on July 11, 2012, 4:52 pmGrinding thru T34 now. Gun? so and so.. the best gun it has has 109pen. Armor? = PaPER! Speed? = er.. i would think, slow, acceleration as well.
I think best Tier V tanks has to go to PIV(great sniper tank) or the M4(but E8 is a lot more better).

Basically T32, still the same as T29. But with better mobility i think. Driving it now with full upgrades and 100% crew. Best gun is still the 105 gun. Which is actually a very AFK gun. Gun stat shows that its got 197pen but I tell ya, this has got to be one of the most bounceable guns around. Each AP shell cost 1k i think, and easily, you could bounce 2 consecutive shell straight off a KV or a STug III sometimes. I almost bleed my nose out using at times. That said, I think american Heavy lines are all about mobility, a more balanced tanks. You get speed, mobility and decent guns. Oh and almost always, frontal armor is the best.

Added on July 12, 2012, 10:54 amTrue, on the Zis4 pen, but 85 damage? thats like a churchill or ramII gun. Also, the lack of armor(compared to both M4 and PIV) on it really is disappointing.

I depended on others to earn money. Kept my PIV and the E8 for a long time to earn money and be sane. As both of em are a lot more fun than the T29. In my euro server, most people said that PIV is a real money maker as well, just like the KV-1. But for fun, slap on a M1A2 gun on the E8, and rake in the medals. It's a really fast gun with a very mobile chasis.
M6 is nice with the 90mm. MM isn't very kind on it though, sometimes, you'd be in a T8 or T9 game and your shells would just be as useless as throwing rocks. But when you do get into a good match, it still is a force to be reckon with. Once, seen an M6 with an 11kill, and he was everywhere.. up the hill, down the hill, down to the river.. up to thier base..
Lots of people say how good the Kv's and the russian heavies are with thier perp guns but you have to play the American tanks to their strength. That's speed, T1 is THE fastest T5 heavy in the game. Heck, you can probably run rings around the KV2 if you're good. Ultimately, I think someone mentioned it here before and it's really true. American heavies are like super meds, just drive em like that, and you'll do well.
Oh, and they really do have a super meds, the patton!!! that thing is feared!

i suppose, a fast pen gun does have it perks. Mayb consider it as a free Churchill then? I do wish it would move faster though.

Yes yes yes! 38 nA is a biatch though.. always in the high tier game and you cant do a single thing to em. Most of the time i just run.. and find a bush to hide.
Think of Panzer IV as a mini Lowe. Good sniping tank.

38nA cant do anything at alll! I didnt know how i managed to went thru it anyway. Only thing it does have is speed. Almost always, you will be the last tank on the list. While the first 5 tanks are usually Tier 7 - 8- 9 heavies. So, no.. none of the 38nA's guns can do a thing.

U need to grind thru it no matter how. Its not about the money, it's about the XP to get there.

need lots of garage slot now badly.

Havent had it yet, cuz when it was introduced, I'm already on the T25/AT, no point in doing 2 American TD line. But IMHO, M18 is a real looker, best looking tank in the game to me, sebijik like, ford focus RS. LOL!

On a spec note though, M18, isn't really a strong TD in the first place anyway, speed is there, but its almost like a drag racer, if u hit a wall or up a hill, the top speed will not sustain. And also, looking at the hull armor, its really paper thin. 16/16/16!!! and this is Tier 6 mind you. Oh.. and not to mention the hand rotating turret speed. Lol!

for REAL? dude.. stug and Jpz both had low silhouette, they're meant for hiding eh.. the turreted TD line are all brawler type leh.. ok, mayb not brawler, but definitely slam, bam thank you mam type. Not ninja!?!?

get the type 59 for that. Awesome traverse!!! but i recently discovered that the frenchy B1 could run rings around a KV1... but that ended badly for me as well cuz, I managed to run like over 20 rounds around him. Unloading about 60 shells on him.. but zero penetration. only hit his tracks!

yep. stock kv1 think. it was on the airfield map and we we're on the airfield. open space everywhere. Was supported by a priest, but he didnt took any shots at him.. just watch and watched.. until when i ran outta bullets, so he came in. Needless to say, the KV just one shotted him.

38Na doesnt do much i think, no matter what rounds you put in it, chances are, you wont be hitting a single thing at all with the high tier you're always gonna be put in. Sharpen your scout skills, run and light the enemy up. Put on HE rounds, just so you can annoy the high tier tanks.

ricochet = bounce shot. shells skimmed over the enemy armor. No hits. Happens all the time for american guns.

penetration = shells hit and enter the armor. money earned!!!
