Confirming that my ceptor was killed by a terrestrial shell from a German Tiger last night in Amamake. Now not only do we have to deal with piwats, we have to look out for planetside gravity-defying projectiles?

Looks awesome, does the tank have different armor parts?
eg: the front armor is thicker than back armor, like in real tanks?

How about customization of the tank?

yes..i read somewhere in the forum...it said you can flank your enemy for better damage, but you need a friend to distract the enemy.... armor: front > side > back

There's also artillery (one of the gameplay videos shows a player seeing the field from a google earth perspective, I think that's the artillery shooting mode)

I've already maxed out my Leichttraktor and am working my way towards buying an Artillery and Pzpkfw . Each battle rewards around 1k credits, and these tanks are about 13k and 18k cost.

this game is friggin addictive. Played till time of post

comment - quite addictive, but the no respawn, slow movement (well it's tank speed), and 1 hit killed most of the time kinda irks me XD

Yea they will be deleted =D Are you in standard battles now? Then only got chance to meet me xD Hopefully can get my t28 medium tank tomolo, dam sick of my inaccurate and squishy t46 light tank d.

OK here's a tip - after your tank is destroyed, press Esc and exit battle. You return to your Garage , the tank you just used will be "In Battle" , when the battle finishes you will gain your exp and credits. So don't sit around blindly waiting for the battle to end.

THAT is the reason why you buy multiple tanks - so that when you have 2-3 tanks in battle you can still play with the others. I have a maxed out Leichttraktor , and a Pkpzfw II with all upgrades except the next level tanks (and that 21k radio upgrade ... )

For light tanks you should upgrade tracks first, it gives you extra load space. Then you upgrade the engine (some tanks, the max engine makes the tank overweight unless you have tracks upgrade) . I normally upgrade the gun last since you usually rely on the artillery to kill tanks, a light tank is just a spotter.

Don't be scared of going up against an arty close range, as long as you can flank it you will kill it.

ahhhh didnt noe bout the Esc and return to garage thing. Normally I juz go surf web lol. Ah wellz, i juz sold my light tank for a T-28......which is real useless lol. Its friggin big size, but low armor and hp T.T.

If you can't update for some reason, you can manually download all the patches. They're about 70Mb.

i tried that , the launcher just ignore them and download the patches all over again.. made my Updates folder 100mb++ lol.. right now im just gonna update using the launcher even its slow like *tuuut*

I noticed the Russian light tanks are stupidly fast. BT-7 is just so much fun in a blitzkrieg rush.

mine to explain about those ammo ?quite confusing.. and those guns too

lemme see if i can help.

The normal ammo is the AP(Armor piercing) , then there's the premium ones (bought with gold) which hit harder, and then there's the HE ones. HE ammo does not penetrate, it scatters, usually if you can't break a tank's armor with the premium ammo you use the HE ones. They also contribute to a lot of other effects like radio and engine damage. But I just use the normal ammo and i'm fine.

For guns, you generally want to pick those with a high rate of fire.

on which tank? The Luchs ... sien, that tank isn't upgraded at all. I put all my exp into the Leopard tree, now only grinding the money to buy a Leopard.

The BT-2 is way better than a BT-7 , so I think I will stick with it. Hang back, wait for the tanks to establish a presence, wait for half the field to die, then suddenly rush forward and take out 1-2 arty. Yeah, that's my style.

kinda sien with my kv d. Lose much more than win lol.....gonna get a bt-2 later heh.

iz there any sherman tank in game? wanna roll out in brits tank if theres any

be careful with them, don't blindly rush in. my Bison can 1shotkill a BT-2 point blank, as a lot of them find out when they get too close to me.

First things first, get all the engine upgrades, then the radio upgrade, and it's one heckuva scout tank.

if you are starting fresh and want to get medium tank really fast, here's what you do -

get 2-3 small light tanks, keep on running them, upgrade until 1 option left. then chiong exp. Calculate how much exp you need to get to the tank you want.

Then max out your light tanks, convert any left over exp with gold and boost to the tank you want.

I dread the thought of starting from Ltraktor/MS-1 again ^^

Hey guys, just wanted to chime that I'm in the beta as well (Just started last night)... In that little time, grinded my way to a T-26 (And I'm LOVING IT).

That being said, there's supposed to be an NDA on this game, so I'd be careful about talking about it so openly.

Well it is a Closed Beta (And if you try to access the forums without logging in, they tell you that everything that isn't there is NDAed.

In most cases, this just means you can't talk about specifics. You can still talk in general though.

u bought premiums? i got 450 gold but i dont know where to spend. anyone using Windows 7 having problems?

The general consensus from the forum, seems to be that its the best way to progress (Pretty much cuts your grind in half). Every other use for it seems to pale by comparison.

but problem is, i cant play. Windows 7 keeps making it crash randomly. dont know its my OS issue or GC. always there will be a "Nvidia Windows Mode Kernel Driver 257.21 has stopped responding and has successfully been restarted" or i get a BSOD.

Maybe you should post your problem in the beta forum.

not much people helping. im really pissed. its affecting my other games as well. BC2 keeps crashing nowadays. something to do with the dreaded nvlddmkm.sys file

well i do have some random crash too sometimes, but nothing major so i didnt really take much notice of it..^^;

mine always crash or worse BSOD. but the 1st day i played WoT whole day no problem at all

Hmm im using win7 64bit, no crashes so far. Might be ure graphics driver le, cuz im using the older 197.16 and so far zero crashes (internet crash got la ).

nah, lighty are good for scouting, suicide run with a fast med, and zerg rush for spg. dont expect to kill anyone much with it tho XD (and for light tank, upgrade engine is a must)
