its a self mod .. the springs look like they are from a mini-z r/c car ... but as for the u joint , dunno

omg was the second to get a time but later on everyone got faster and my time just got wipe off

anyways, this race makes me wonder many things... do u guys know wad makes the car doesn't jump far and steadily  eventhough its kinda fast? its it the mass dampers?

choosing battery was one of the biggest choice i have to make for this race

thanks to David-Teoh and tamiya underground....and Volunteers who help to organize the race...

I do enjoy today race

sad my car not suit to the new rule....but at least it performing within my expectation!! i am happy ...hahahaha...

just to share the setting with you ...

Hi all,

-standard car race...tamiya rules apply... no gear mod and cutting on chassis...
-racer with 1 slot add 5g weight.
-racer with 2 slots add another 5g weight.

-we can differentiate racers with slot and non-slot, weight will be added before race started by officer...
-weight will be stick on outside the cover...or top of the car which can show clearly weight has been added.

-cover with weight can be ready by TU... so all racers with slot should use the same weighted plastic cover....

-non-slot racer allowed to use any cover.

racer with 1 slot, will be recognized by red ribbon.
racer with 2 slots, will be recognized by blue ribbon.

i hope this will help... and it's more clear to has the clear plans...

anyway, racers has to be integrity and honest...

do you dare to challenge? i doubt...  

this is what real world racing and RC racing rule...

u wanna know the formula of super silent car dat the sound comes from the engine?
pls ensure all items as below:
1- well lubricated new engine
2- well lubricated new purple gears (pinion)
3- well lubricated gear set (green+pink) with 520 bearing inside
4- new tire shafts, and STRAIGHT
5- carefully inserted rims into the shaft (when u run the car with low battery, see tires carefully when it spinning, izzit wobbling or not) ** a.k.a. gelong..haha
6- 4pcs good wheel bearings (520 / 620)

TADAAA! u can have dat kind of silent n smoothness.. 

yes,that is if you have the t-04 and n-o4, then you can fit 520 bearings as wheel bearings.

then the italian style wud solve de problem mate.. it is still gonna be vy fast thou..

-Stock car (no mods on chassis, cover, tyre, rims, gear etc)
-max 4 frp for each car
-For the motor, u can use anything (tamiya brand only)
-Bearing can only use 4, (depends if want to use for shaft or roller) but max is 4
-Weight handicap as suggested by mr Ng.
