just be very careful when screwing the holes. hehehehe..  make sure the screw is really straight. if its really hard to screw it in. means its not right aledi. a nice hole is when it can go in really easy but also when fully screwed it is tight..
haha sorry the above post sounds very very 18+hahah

ya, it's straight, perfectly fit but still crack. It was still okay in the beginning, but after running, it cracked.

Guys...I'm just wondering, why did (almost) all of you using large dia wheel with a super speed gears ? (and not only in this forum, almost all jap's racers also use this kind of setting)

I've been reading some of tamiya's guideline about that, which with those kind of combination it's not only "torturing" the motor it also drains the battery...

Since its all for racing and only time attack, to gain the maximum speed = large diameter tires + super speed gear ratio. Torture motor yes, but since motor is not that expensive, as well as money is speed and speed is money, it's worth doing it, race and throw motor after race.

which cleaner spray? ELKAY or TAMIYA one?
as that thing is CLEANER..so it used for cleaning..unless it was stated at the bottle as LUBRICANT. cool2.gif

ok like this, get a small container/bottle. put your rusty/dirty bearings in it. then spray some cleaner. close the container, then shake2.
u'll see some dirt comes away and cleaner become darker.

take out, let it dries on the tissue.

if your 13mm bearing still rough, maybe the nuts inside dh rosak. buy a new one. TQ

normally we just clean up the rollers+bearings n let it dust-free..so it can spin smoothly .bcoz tamiya RC cleaner and elkay is not oil based, so it is allowed at TU for rempit n during race. some type of cleaners are oil based, so it can caused track+other cars dirty n collectiing dust. dat kind of cleaners are BANNED. icon_rolleyes.gif

you can lube your bearing and parts, but make sure your car and parts are clean and oil won't split out to the track....

no oily spray allowed since oily spray is hard to control ppl always overuse it, and normally ppl spray and go, did't take care the track, so organizer forced to prohibit the oily spray...

stains caused by oily spray is hard to remove, whether it's only the track or on the flow.
