gabz... why can't use hg for speed car?? can you mention why it's a waste if use it at speed car。。。 Added on July 27, 2010, 2:02 amQUOTE(lolhalol @ Jul 27 2010, 02:00 AM) Step 5 - Deep Clean Rinse Now take a container with a cap and fill it 2 and half bearings high with the cold cleaner spray. Put two bearings in and close the cap. Shake for about 1 minute. Repeat till all the bearings have been cleaned. I normally repeat this step twice just to make sure the bearings are absolutely clean. Change the fluid after every 4 bearings. Dump the used fluid into the container with the washers, nuts and spacers. When done with all the bearings. Set them out to dry on a clean surface. While waiting to dry just give the container with the nuts, washers and spacers a shake. This is to clean what ever grease or dirt thats trapped in the spacers or washers. Wipe them done after with a rag and let them dry. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Should be left with something like this once done. Step 6 - Cleaning the Inner Core This step is not necessary but i like to do it anyways. Normally while waiting for the bearings to dry. Just grab the cleaner spray and spray into the inner core. Then just clean it with a rag. This would get rid of oils or dirt that are on the wheel. notice the difference ? Added on July 27, 2010, 2:00 amStep 7 - Re- Lubricating the Bearing Once dry, give each bearing a quick spin and see if it spins freely. if it doesn't u got a bad bearing. Now set the bearings ball cage side down, and drop 2 drops of bearing lube into the bearing. Give it another couple of spins to work the oil into the bearing. Its also good practice to put a drop of oil on ur finger and rub in onto the other surfaces of the bearing and also the outside surface of the ball cage to prevent rust. Now put the tweezer through the bearing and spin it a few times., making sure the bearing can spin smoothly. It normally spin very long because there fresh oil in the bearing, just skate it a for a few hours and it would eventually set in. . Now youre all done. Put the bearing back into the wheels , wheel washers on the truck axle and reinstall the nut. good job lolhalol!!! This post has been edited by szngszng: Jul 27 2010, 02:02 AM

QUOTE(junichi_nonis @ Jul 28 2010, 01:46 PM) cant remember specificly but shud be around 8 trials coz i finish two packs of batteries thou.. de take out message is; concentrate on one chasis.. should be 12 trials coz you are using package 8+4 batt pack... i only build 1 new car for that speed race, but understand the setting before race, so i can change the setting according to the layout with more easily ... planning for the race are important.. so you won't get mess at race... but, some time it will come out of control... nice discussion, hope to see more discuss like this....

QUOTE(david tamiya @ Jul 29 2010, 02:11 AM) josh another pointer to u i know that you really prefer the old chassis , but you seem to struggle too much with it from what i see is you are sometimes confused on how to setup the car properly you seem to mix the setups of old and new and that is where u got stuck sometimes so throw the old out and start fresh on the new ones and i think you are good to go sorry boys old people seems to like to talk too much lol nvm oldman, you look young...at least look younger than me... btw, talk more of your exp... we will love to listen your story.... yes, due to old and new structure diff, some which applied to MS can't really applied in single shaft chassis...
