Pro tip from pro racer!

Szng:
Surgery needs good organs/spare parts if not only making things worse smile.gif

However, there are a few cases for comparison here.

Super speed cars use large dia. rollers, but FRP cars use bearings... both are fast. Maybe there is some other reason why large dia. rollers are used?

Do take into consideration if the comparison between 2 types of car

Weight
Transmission
Battery
Track layout
Motor

Unless you run both cars under the absolute same condition if not you will never get answers
P.s.
Soaking of bearing is only effective when the bearings are new and unused. If it is old bearings and can't even spin properly just let it retire to the dump. It might be costly but frequent bearing change is a must in mini4wd racing.

In our case the FRP cars are a closer comparison to MS Pro? Even without full mod and chassis cutting there seems to be a bias towards bearings as rollers?

IMO 4 roller with bearing much easier than with 19mm...

David, by slow speed you mean "slow" speed? ^^

Best way is to test with your own car. Every car responds differently when you change the setting. You can try it with short, normal and long (distance between front and rear rollers) with consistent batteries and record the time smile.gif then you can get the feeling for what's right for your setup.

Also different roller types respond differently, so best you experiment with your intended race setup IMO...

Any correction from the sifus is most welcome notworthy.gif
