Pro tip from pro racer!

Surgery needs good organs/spare parts if not only making things worse smile.gif

However, there are a few cases for comparison here.

Super speed cars use large dia. rollers, but FRP cars use bearings... both are fast. Maybe there is some other reason why large dia. rollers are used?

Do take into consideration if the comparison between 2 types of car

Weight
Transmission
Battery
Track layout
Motor

Unless you run both cars under the absolute same condition if not you will never get answers

P.s.
Soaking of bearing is only effective when the bearings are new and unused. If it is old bearings and can't even spin properly just let it retire to the dump. It might be costly but frequent bearing change is a must in mini4wd racing.

In our case the FRP cars are a closer comparison to MS Pro? Even without full mod and chassis cutting there seems to be a bias towards bearings as rollers?

I can only say it will always look and sound faster.
Lap times could be vice versa

I have to agree on the factor tat david mentioned.

as for bearing, of coz it has to be new and unused.. in speed races, to obtain optimum performance, it is best if everything is new from pack.. all modification has to be precise if nt in good shape..

tat's y, everyone said "SPEED = AGUNG".. however, sumtimes ther are exceptional case, but rather rare..

cheers mate..

I can also say that bearing rollers are maintenance free compare to the 19mm rollers
As for 4 rollers some can't even pass the lc at slow speed so hard to compare

Do note the pics of the 4 rollers frp cars do race in the track where oval lc is being used rather then the conventional lc so they can really push it without the fear of flying out lol

IMO 4 roller with bearing much easier than with 19mm...

David, by slow speed you mean "slow" speed? ^^

drill through the wheel hole... use long shaft, i.e. 72mm hard shaft to mount your wheel...

adjust it until it fit to the proper position...

if you are using super X/XX chassis... sorry, you have to buy a new set... recommend the carbon reinforce wheel... which is very tight
