haha im good... doing full time coaching now.. no more competitive la after SUKMA..tht one also was forced to play
i've been reading jz tht didnt post haha pinpoint stance = roddick's stance ?? overseas coaches are teaching tht nowadays due to it being more easy for bodyweight transfer..starting to push kids towards tht stance too haha This post has been edited by ~Battousai~: Jul 12 2010, 12:20 PM |

uh need to see more points though..coz from that 1 point cant give a conclusive one..
IMHO i think u should try slowing the time between tossing and hitting the ball..its abit too fast for me..its like u jz wanted to get it over and done with..its a spin serve u're doing so letting urself have more time lets u able to hit the bottom of the ball more thus increasing ur spin n u can jz concentrate on hitting forward for power w/o worrying bout loss of spin from it can see ur backhand is more attacking than the forehand..1st backhand nice short takeback n using back opponents power..2nd backhand had more whip.. would need to see more of the forehand though.. if its the same then it needs to have more racquet swing speed generated into it... dont need to type out complete report like wat i do for my juniors rite hahaha.. else i'll need to charge d |

i've seen that being done by badminton but havent tried that out myself
well i do 2 things usually.. 1st is drive volleys..it forces the players to really swing at it 2nd is i ask them start their racquet at contact point.. n i'll jz throw the ball to them n they hit it from their contact zone forward...it's unusual i know but it makes sure they develop the speed n strength to hit it forward... the swing itself is not important as everyone has diff styles...but the contact point onwards thts the same for everyone i feel |
