Hi, can you recommend me a Media Player and how much is it ?
Budget is below RM500

Based on these requirement:-
MUST HAVE
- HDMI output
- USB input
- Play RMVB movies at 1280 x 720
- Play AVI movies
- Network (Wired only is enough)
- Stream Movies/Musics files at Network PC in the study room
- Additional Remote Control can be purchase now
- Stream HK Series (Is this called ShunLei / PPS or something ?)

BEST HAVE
- Play WMV movies
- Watch online Youtube (no need surf other internet)

I got the Hi-Media H3 media player.

I added my external HDD with movies to the Media Library, if browse using Thumbnail, it hang & need restart. If browse using LIST, it is okay.
How to solve this ?

Bought HiMedia H3 media player & bought additional Remote Control

The Remote Control is not stable & unreliable. After using for few days, the remote doesn't work at all.
I need to remove the battery & re-install, only can work again

I tried BOTH same remote control I bought extra at the same time also has same problems.

I also tried change to a brand new Battery also the same.
Tried Branded (Energizer or Duracell) & normal (Panasonic or Maxell) also the same.

Trouble not only need remove & re-install the Battery to let the remote control function again.
Because normally I wrapped it using the transparent paper (books wrapper) to protect it nicely, removing & re-install the Battery is much more troublesome also.

I also tried DO NOT WRAP it (as original), same problems applies too.

May I know is this Remote Control not reliable or something wrong with the sensor or something else can fix it ?
It is very annoying.

Can someone or supplier please help solve the Remote Control problems on Hi-Media media player ?
