Here is my short review for HI media Q6 II.
Picture quality was pretty good and so is the sound. The GUI is easy to understand for beginners. It was a bit alien for IOS transformation in the beginning when attaching your external hdd . Make sure you reformat your hdd to NTFS. Ntfs allows files more than 4gb for transfer. I like the HI Tv content. They have china channel about 100++ , cant remember. Some channels have lagging issues and i hate this part. I expect my unifi VIP 10 to stream smoothly but something is really wrong here. Im thinking of 5hz band for wider input but i cant be sure if this will help in the end. Im still using the TMNut stock router which was single band 2.6ghz which was claimed as turtle speed by competitors such as ASUS. The media have some movies and dramas fr PPTv and i tested some of the movies as well. They have some latest movies like CAptain Philips, inferno , runner runner etc . Same issue as the tv channels. Inferno hk movie lagging and im very dissapointed bcos just when your happiness was cut short by lags . The lagging could not be solved by connecting lan cable . I switch off the wifi and it still lagging. I wonder what is the cause? This post has been edited by hackwire: Jan 4 2014, 07:35 PM |
