bought himedia hd900c from u..very satisfy the performance.tq. wanna ask, how to use himedia remote to turn on tv since it has two power buttons, 1 for player and 1 for tv.

Bought HiMedia H3 media player & bought additional Remote Control

The Remote Control is not stable & unreliable. After using for few days, the remote doesn't work at all.
I need to remove the battery & re-install, only can work again

I tried BOTH same remote control I bought extra at the same time also has same problems.

I also tried change to a brand new Battery also the same.
Tried Branded (Energizer or Duracell) & normal (Panasonic or Maxell) also the same.

Trouble not only need remove & re-install the Battery to let the remote control function again.
Because normally I wrapped it using the transparent paper (books wrapper) to protect it nicely, removing & re-install the Battery is much more troublesome also.

I also tried DO NOT WRAP it (as original), same problems applies too.

May I know is this Remote Control not reliable or something wrong with the sensor or something else can fix it ?
It is very annoying.

Can someone or supplier please help solve the Remote Control problems on Hi-Media media player ?

philips hmp5000 use realtek 1185 chipset got built-in wifi, but for internet channels very imited only, i saw at china last year, here malaysia philips just import only (not sure izzit here will change sum software de), will cming soon, price i think will be around rm350...
hmp3000 now offer rm200, different is without internet function de
