Hello guys n gals... i jus came bak to WoW from quiting awhile ago

Nowadays all ppl look at are GS n achievements... GS i get it, it's a must to be adequately equipped to survive the raids... and one can get the needed gears when they spend some time
But ACHIEVEMENTS?

First of all, my guild's a super casual guild which dun raid at all... so i cant ask any1 to carry me. that's ok, i used to pug ulduar n toc all the time
Secondly, now the ICC's got 12 achs... and i quit when i only got 4.... and ppl dun let u in unless u got 6 or more...

How can i get MORE... when even PUGs need 6+...

i know all about the fights from reading guides n watching youtube videos like tankspot, but ppl wont gv me a chance, it's not like performing a surgery, u cant learn it only by watching a video... i've raided much too.... argh.... getting carried away here


anyways to get ach? i dun like to use something like achievement hack... but if it's the last resort, i'll use it

the easiest way is, join a raid witch raid. its hard to get a pug nowaday witch dont need gs/ach nowaday...

but on my server (Caelestrasz), sometimes pugs are looking for ppl with the 1st 4 only, some even didnt ask for ach, all on luck..

Well, they need the achiv just to increase success rate in the fight, thats all.
I know those ppl who dont give a chance to pplwho have no achive are tards in real life. How these ppl expect anyone to improve just by reading and watch videos without experiencing the real deal?

Anyway, what u can do is to get geared as much as possible and convince them.

Like everyone say =) get geared as much as you can via Heroics (Triumph Badges). You could get to 5k++ gs once you get everything you can get.

As for convincing them, just pst them and tell them you know 7/12 of the fights or smth, or lie a little =P like tell them you done on your main but make sure you really know the fight because sometime in PuG we ask ppl do they know 7/12 the fights but when we reach the actual fight, there is always ppl ask how to do =="

Btw whats your GS?

yep.. watch videos on tankspot to get a general picture on how the raid will be going. that will help you after getting full T9/9.5 gear set.
