Well, I tried to search for BFBC2 in the US region but found nothing. Only the BFBC2 guide. Exactly the same as our region.

But there's a BFBC2 UK in the UK domain like what you found. Alas, the EA Week promotion only applies to the US region so I don't think we'll be seeing a 50% discount for BFBC2 UK.

Erm... nope. The GG promotion differs between UK & US region. For this EA Week, it's only applicable to the US region. Lemme try to trace back the twit that I had with GG Twitter Angie.

OK, I managed to locate the post where we both found out that GG was slow in revising the price for BFBC2:

And, guess what? GG must have been alerted since the normal price for BFBC2 is now $29.95! We'll see about it tomorrow!

You have 2 systems right? Perhaps you wanna try on the other system? Kinda weird that you've been having issues with GG games for many times now.

At which part did the game crash? Halfway while playing? You had a HD5770 IIRC. There are quite a number of driver updates been made available recently, you might wanna check them out.

On the other hand, my HD5750 has been crashing my SC2 a couple times too, but not to the point of pulling out my hairs as of now.

Another thing, try checking your My Games menu to see if there's any patches available.

Nope. You can transfer the installation file to another PC. Refer to the FAQ as quoted below:

Yup. The steps came from the official GG FAQ & I've tried it before since my office download speed is way faster than my home Screamyx.

Rest assured its doable. I always download in office and bring it back to home pc. Only caveat is you must online to install it. After that, you're good to go.

It's a problem that many people in the EA forum were raging about. Since you have 2 computers, can you try installing the game into the computer that you downloaded the file?

Or if you must install it on the other system, try removing 1 piece of your RAM (leave it as 2GB only) & retry the installation. That's 1 of the workaround that you can try. Else, I'm afraid that recompiling the cabinet files is the next step.

You might want to shoot an email to GG if it's bc2 fault or GG packaging.  I bought retail way back then.

Can't wait to get a game from Gamer's Gate and try out their services.
