Kinda slow in replying but yeah, as mentioned by Gormaz, you're recommended to download patches from GG directly. If you noticed certain patch is not available in GG (but released in game developer's website), you can alert GG about it & allow them some time to get it done.

By the way, Tales of Monkey Island Complete Season Bundle going thru 60% discount & currently tagged at $13.98.

Paradox Sale is on its last day today, do grab them fast if they're in your wishlist.

To be honest too, I rarely see GG implementing region-lock & I've to admit that I'm kinda surprised that with this latest development. Time to tweet them to see if it was a directive from the publisher or dev.

That's true but recently they've managed to get their hands on some of the popular games. A good sign that will last long, I hope.
You can always separate them into another partition. I believe prasys has listed out a brief list of steps to go about it.

On another note, it has been confirmed that NWN 2 has been removed from the list of games for Summer Sale. According to GG:

Just clarified with GG via Twitter. Only the US region has the 50% discount. Seems like accessing GG from China will automatically route you to the US region.
