Bought Batman: Arkham Asylum and downloading now. Download speed is very slow @ 160kB/s only (Steam around 600kB/s, peak @ 1.4MB/s). But considering that I can install the game on different PCs and play at the same time, I think it's quite worth the price.
*
$16 is definitely worth it for a high rating game

Hmm... that could be 1 of the reason, though I was under the assumption that even the worst antivirus will usually prompt the user first prior to deleting or quarantining any file. hmm.gif
*
im using kaspersky 2010 genuine copy i dont think that would be the issues. anyway i got reply from gamertutor to ask me try the activation code on steam. i manage to activate it. lest see if it will corrupt like gamersgate do.

Huh? But I noticed that your entry in the Game Tutor disappeared! shocking.gif

And they actually provided you a key & request that you activate it in Steam? Wow... I'm very very surprised!

if u activated on steam, then the file will be differently downloaded, like i mention earlier, GG download installer while Steam download game files directly.

Hard so say, if u face prob like this, recomended you check for your antivirus history see if they auto delete. mostly antivirus auto delete the file infected by virus without asking but will giv u a short notice, u probably will miss it if u AFk
*
Okie. anyway im fine with steam install or gg install.

Good find there! BFBC2 is scheduled to be in the 50% offer bin tomorrow (http://www.geardiary.com/2010/09/09/gear-g...ls-all-weekend/). However, I seem to recall that some games in GG cost double the price in Steam due to price revision by Steam. I sincerely hope that BFBC2 is not one of them but still, I would advise you to keep your expectation low. sad.gif

And the weird thing is, I can't even find BFBC2 in their list of games at the moment. Bummer...
Dropped you a PM. smile.gif

i just pay a visit to their uk site and the price is revised to 19.95 pound instead of 29.95 pound.
