it's probably a final build coz it was for Vivo telecommunication company (like Starhub for SG)

now waiting for CM6 to use this kernel.

Does anyone know if it is possible to be connected to the internet on MS with data cable connected to an Internet ready laptop? (no data plan enabled on phone)

I believe teethering enables laptop to be connected to the net with MS acting as a modem. Is it possible to have the reverse?

After I do a hard reset on my Milestone, I noticed one thing.... Android Market has a new interface! But still no paid apps...

Rushmode: I bought 2 china batteries for the Milestone. Both never said anything about higher capacity.... and both are crap!

use Connectify to make your laptop become router.

Not sure if i understand you correctly.
here's my situation, i dont have a data plan enabled on my MS. I want to access the internet at the office but security restrictions prohibits me to do so. Is it possibly for me to connect via USB to my laptop (already connected to company network) to be connected to the internet. It is just like a bridging only with a USB rather than a network cable. Is that what connectify allows me to do?

actually it would be better if i can get it via USB, so the network admins will not see the hotspot

how was the Brazil 2.2.1 ROM? everything working fine? how about the baseband.. does it have any problem with signal reception?

so APAC official 2.2.1 Rom is just around the corner eh? doesn't care much since CM6 have been very nice to me.

btw, any one try Momax or the other battery (forgot)? I'm afraid using a cheap S china batt.. later my crotch suddenly on fire

im using momax. for 1300mah not bad...but for sure is weaker than ori. now im waiting for Atrix, cannot resist for 1930mah

Eager to try out the latest sbf. But I've come to live with the CM mod features, kinda hard to go without them now.

Then again, the LauncherPro keeps reloading issue seems to be getting worst and I'm considering giving the Brazilian sbf a go

baseband doesnt work. Have to use OR and change to SG baseband. You have to flash the "vulnurable *something*" again if you use this sbf. After that use OR for change baseband, OC, etc. But latest CM6 is using this new leak kernel already, so no need to do data wipe.


i didnt use apndroid, just go to setting and change.


if launcherpro is your dissatisfaction of CM6 then better dun use this new sbf. Now is even worse, almost everytime i open an app and close back, have to wait around 30 seconds for the launcherpro to load..
You can try the latest CM6 see is it better or not coz if change to this sbf have to wipe data. In the OR got option to "fix permission to prevent app force close", this together with launcherpro setting to prevent force close might help, but i never tried it lar.

I have uninstall launcherpro and just use android default homescreen, this one didnt have the loading issue.
