Hi, I got offer for Human Resource Development course. To all the seniors, can you give me more details about what to study about this course? May I know more about this University? Can show some pictures of the university environment, campus and hostel? Is there got any shopping center around? Thanks in advance.

QUOTE(ItsMyUsername @ Jul 13 2012, 04:16 PM) Congrats for getting into Unimas What you basically have to study in HRD are the management and psychology. Don't worry you will know more about it soon. The picture above is one of the hostels in Unimas. There are Giant, Boulevard, The Spring which takes about 30 minutes to reach. Thanks May I know that is UNIMAS a good place to study?

QUOTE(ItsMyUsername @ Jul 13 2012, 04:29 PM) Every uni has its pros and cons. You might be skeptical at first but trust me, you will get used to unimas in no time. That place is huge. Plus, you have an apartment style hostel You're from West Malaysia? ohh, really? Yup. I have seen some pictures from the uni. It seems that the U got modern building and facilities, is it true? I would also like to know that whether the flight ticket that we buy will be sponsor by government or ourselves? And is there going to be anyone to fetch us when we reach there, like the people in charge or seniors? This post has been edited by JenX: Jul 13 2012, 10:11 PM

QUOTE(ItsMyUsername @ Jul 14 2012, 10:56 AM) Yup. Modern building but lacks of colour. Nope. You have to pay the flight ticket yourself and yes seniors will be welcoming you in the airport and take you to the uni by bus Ohh, I see. May I ask you what are the course you are currently taking? Human Resource? From your opinion, do you think Human Resource course is good?

QUOTE(ItsMyUsername @ Jul 14 2012, 08:33 PM) Depends on your lecturer. You can wear baju kurung/collar tee+long pants, no shorts and formal attire during presentation. Is it necessary to wear collar tee? Cos I've bought quite a lot of non-collar t-shirt.

QUOTE(ItsMyUsername @ Jul 16 2012, 12:07 PM) She meant when you go to class etc. Actually yes you can wear to class but it doesn't look very proper. Make sure you don't wear slippers during exam. You can wear slippers in hostel anytime you want I just saw the dress code for female. So is seluar slack the only pant allow? No jeans allow??? QUOTE(ItsMyUsername @ Jul 16 2012, 02:54 PM) You're allowed to wear jeans to class but during your orientation week, you need to wear formal (blouse, slacks, formal shoes + black socks or baju kurung). During orientation week, usually you only need to wear formal in the morning. In the evening or night, you need to wear semi-formal which is collar tee, slacks and formal shoes/sport shoes. Don't worry. I'm sure they will inform everyone on that day In the buku panduan, it stated that we need to apply 'dokumen perjalanan terhad' from Jabatan Imigresen Malaysia. What's that? Btw, do we need to do passport? This post has been edited by JenX: Jul 16 2012, 03:15 PM

QUOTE(ItsMyUsername @ Jul 16 2012, 10:47 PM) You're most welcome. Sure, I would be glad to help. Hope you will like unimas Today I went to do medical check-up and the nurse told me that I need to go again to see doctor. She said that I need to 'berpakaian kemas' -> blouse, slack pant. Did u wear formal outfit last time? Btw, the slack pant that we need to wear in uni must 'tanpa poket luar'? 'Ada poket luar' cannot? This post has been edited by JenX: Jul 17 2012, 01:40 PM
