Which part of Australia? If in Goldcoast area i suggest u book hotel near or in Surfer's Paradise. Last time i when there and stay in Courtyard Marriot. Just across the hotel there a malaysian restaurant. Cant remember the name. Maharani i think. or sumtin. u can ask for nasi goreng kampung roti canai, sambal belacan. Nasi goreng kampung is about 13AUD. But the taste superb...damm good. Makes me think about home town. Next corner of the hotel got chinese restaurant it says halal food but i didnt had the chance to try it. Another things is dont go for fast food like McD coz got non halal part there. You can also find Asian food stall but u have walk abit. That 1 halal too. No worries if u in Aussie. the people there very nice and helpful. Many malaysian and singaporean family spend time there. So u dont have to worry about halal food
