Clear sabotage to Penang under the order by BN.
Can you imagine the heart of Penang (Georgetown, Tanjung Bungah etc) has no UniFi coverage while crappy places like Sibu, Sungai Petani, Senawang, Kemaman got it?

Seremban also don't have until today and it is under BN. I have to agree, some area has it which is ridiculous seeing the place hardly has any internet activities.

Good news to Seremban peeps, TM has started working on HSBB at Seremban. I was driving home yesterday and notice some TM staff working. I am sure it is HSBB, as the cone they put up on the road site was labelled TM HSBB.

They were working around the town and lobak. So in 3 to 6 months, i think coverage will be available. smile.gif

Also no DSL coverage in Neo Damansara.

I think I'd rather wait for Unifi, as Streamyx is not enough for me.  I used to have 4mbps Streamyx.  And I was not at all happy with it for the following reasons:

1. 1000RM deposit for expats (and I've not received my refund for this!) which is not written on their ToCs.
2. False advertising (sign up for a 4mbps plan and you only get to use 3.2mbps max)
3. Upload speed is crap (my 4mbps plan then was only capable of 125kbps upload speed)

The first Fiber ISP that gets Neo Damansara hooked up gets my hard-earned buck!

ADSL in malaysia is a best effort basis. Our ministry MCMC has stated, best effort must at the very minimum achieve 70% of advertised speed. Your your 3.2Mbps is still very much within the acceptable 70% threshold.

So word of advice to everyone, when you see best effort basis, subscribe to something faster, cause the 70% of advertise speed is a real lame excuse. sad.gif

I use Yes 4G for gaming, very good. Much better than my Streamyx in the old days. Currently playing FFXIV beta. No issue whatsoever.

To what? In D3 it is green all the time.
FFXIV, not sure. Never tried, but never experienced any lag either.
