Another few years maybe, me too is waiting but thinking that even the 4mbps streamyx is consider rare and only available at few places, I don't think unifi will be offering in Melaka too soon.

Depends on your area demographic and residents.Why they are not choosing areas in your island such as Jelutong, GeorgeTown and the rest but Prai/ Bayan Baru?

Even in the Klang Valley, places where there're high internet usage and lots of people, they still don't have any signs of UNIFI coming to them let alone the infrastructure set up. Places such as some parts of SS2, Tmn. SEA, etc.

TM has some other kind of definition of HIGH ECONOMIC IMPACT based on my understanding.

Just like where they are willing to set up a fiber cabinet in a Malay kampung close by behind my house but not the switch which serves my housing area.

My 4mbps is just operating at the tip point of the allowable SNR/attenuation value just as all my neighbours are.
