pretty strange isn't it?

You received the email informing the availablity of unifi for your area a.k.a. Kinrara exchange but when you call up their CS team they said will only commence on January 2012..

it is either their CS is really not updated, or the email is just purely to inform you that the service will commence VERY SOON (Jan 2012 my god ), but didn't mean July/ August? Then some TM installer said the service is already there but need activation on July...

I got those emails as well. Twice to be exact. Once earlier this month and another yesterday. Worse is, after checking with UNIFI's website, my place is not even in the list! After emailing them, they say will be available next January. What's the point sending those email so soon? Giving people false hope only

bad News, i just called the CS asking bout the unifi availability in my area,
they confirm that CAPS will be introduced this JULY. 60GB per month for VIp5, 90gb per month for VIP 10

haha..like me..at least they are starting to pull fibre closer to my place..just wondering when they will start installing the boxes..i want to see them do it and see how different it is from HK.

did they tell how slow they will cap your speed?

I got this info from Unifi sales promoter at the curve that day saying that download cap of watever depending on package will ONLY be applied to international traffic website and download from overseas locations but local connection will not be counted. Also IPTV and phone has nothing to do with the cap and will not effect it in any way.

After cap is reach u get a reduced speed to i think 10% if i can recall properly so VIP 5 will be at 500 kilobits/s still ok for browsing webpage. U do have the options to buy extra usage and speed will return to normal but i do not know the details.

One question when will Bukit Damansara have coverage any TM people can answer this? on the website it says 3Q.

Called Unifi CS yesterday. She said by 2nd July Wangsa Maju area will be covered with Unifi service.

Ready for installation... same as Taman Permata, Taman Melawati, danau kota, etc...
U can see some places with TM Unifi booth at this places...

i want to register BIZ 5 Package, location Desa Melawati, Phone No. 03-4108 xxxx.

Can convert from SOHO to BIZ 5 immediately?

LeonTan, can clarify about the capping after reaching quota since you are a Unifi sales personnel?

Does anyone know if Unifi is available in Jaya One yet? Office subscriber here.

There's no capping until further notice... dont need worry..
