Left contact with Tg Malim TMpoint since August. Still no calls from them.

Anyone knows when unifi will be available here?

Sorry for not updating but I already went to the TMpoint in Tanjong Malim in the last 5 days or so.. they told me that Unifi is only supported in the town area (you're lucky if you live in the town area).. but the rest is not supported.. I asked when and they told me, it will take a while... like seriously a while... by their expression alone, I can conclude that we will have to wait till hell freezes over cry.gif

My house in Bukit Istana is waiting for Unifi for more than 3 years. They said there were going to install Unifi in my area here in Kuantan. But till now still can't install. Now we see green boxes in all the other lorongs. But not in my lorong. My lorong only don't have green box. We ask TM they already sent contractor twice but they say it's impossible. The box is too far about 200m. Even though, I checked the coverage for my house they say it's possible, but the contractors say can't? All the other houses already can use, but we can't use. How is that fair? cry.gif

from my experience, 8 years waiting and going to tmpoint submitting application forms at least 8 times= nothing happend. Left right front back taman all got unifi. I drafted a petition. And walked the neighborhood. I begged for people to sign support to request for unifi. People treated me like dirt, like some pest, like an insurance agent. Some treated me with respect, offered me drinks, to talk in their living room, and umbrella when it rained.

I got 7-80 signatures, (if my memory serves me, out of ~100).

That kind of got Tm's attention. After that, almost 1 year after that, unifi is available at my taman.

(in addition to that, you gotta research a bit. as some housing estate of old, the name, taman can be different for each different street, last time developer is small timer, one street one kampung name, another street another taman.) because in part of that, tm might not feel or decide there is enough population to even consider pulling the fiber in.

You gotta get some walking done.

If your female, I suggest get some guys to do it. Just not worth it to lose your life over internets.

Good luck.

PS: PM me if you want to use my draft of petition. <i still holding out, as RM199 omg so expensive.> alot of my neighbours signed up already. I spied some that did not sign petition also sign up for it.

I made a complaint on this site http://www.complaint.cfm.org.my/ due to TM being unfair about their Unifi coverage. They said Penampang area is available but when I when to TM Point the other day they said not covered? I was like huh? I basically live in Penampang area. Even said it on my IC Kampung Navahiu, 89500 Penampang, Sabah. Then they said prolly it's due to "Kampung" area? What? We "Kampung" citizen don't get good service or are they assuming we can;t afford it? My "Kampung" area literally has more bungalows than those in Penampang Town and each house own at lease 3-6 cars. We're plenty rich. So why not make it available? Wait 3 years for this finally came to Penampang only to fall short.
